Nice room but I could hear everything from the staff room behind my wall. The layout of the hostel is kind of weird, with the sinks in the hall and only two showers.. I went there only because I had no other choice.

“Good value, good location and comfortable.”
Staff was super friendly and the bed was comfy; the living room was very spacious and had many levels, so everyone could mind its own business. Good value place, and great location overall !

Really nice common area. Well equipped kitchen area. Small dormitories of 4 beds / 2 bunks. Dedicated storage for each person. Fantastic location for transport and centre if town / canal / warehouses - free welcome drink a nice touch

“Economical stay for one night”
The rustic charm and quiet location within easy walking distance of the canal. Comfortable bed, good shower, nice common area. Free drink on welcome. Everything that you need for a short stay.

This stay truly warmed my heart! The staff were kind and attentive, making me feel right at home. When I accidentally left my passport at the guesthouse, they promptly kept it safe and patiently waited for my return three days later. I felt completely at ease knowing it was in their care. I’m so grateful for their thoughtfulness and kindness, which made me feel the warmth of family even when far from home — highly recommended!

Bed is comfortable and other customers are respectful by not making a lot of noise at night. Location is pretty close to the Otaru station and close to the Canal.
