“A real gem waiting to be properly run”
After nearly 100 reviews easily the most difficult to comment on. A lovely building with historic touches and nicely renovated but so in need of a bit of looking after - we loved the laid back atmosphere but it really was just a room in a gorgeous old house with no add-ons. Breakfast OK. Gardens lovely but needing a bit of attention.

It was very nice that we could borrow an iron. The room was nice, the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was really delicious. Plenty of parking space.

Friendly and helpful staff, a good and reasonably priced restaurant, and the room had a large private terrace over the hotel's main entrance. The grounds of the hotel are pleasant. The general atmosphere is of a small, intimate hotel.
