“Staff are great but the room is super basic and dated”

The guesthouse on next to a very busy street and the rooms are very basic, but clean. The "good" rooms of the guesthouse is not in operation die to a shortage of staff. The supervisor was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

- the owners were super friendly and chatty - helped us book the whale sharks and recommended a trip to an island - helped driving us to both the ferry to the island and the whale sharks and picked us up. - made us breakfast -theres water and coffee for free. - and a beach to take a swim - it's a nice area that doesn't feel touristy. Nice places to eat local cuisine and everyone is super friendly.

Nice location, a few meters from the beach and a small mall, really convenient! The owners are really careful and helpful, I forgot my goggles there, and they find a way to send them to me in Cebu! I definitely recommend and if I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Islet View. Wilma and Raul (owners) are the most generous, kindest and friendliest people you could ever wish to meet. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. The water is cold but it didn't detract from our stay.

Wonderful owners. They help with everything. They organize whale shark watching without waiting in a huge line. They serve an excellent free breakfast. I recommend.

The host was one of the most friendly owners we ever met. Breakfast was great, they booked us a slot for the whalewatching, and they even brought us to the ferry.

Incredibly friendly staff. Very easy check in and very happy with the room. Free breakfast each morning. The staff will book the whale shark boat for you, take you there and wait for you throughout. They also gave us a lift to the port on the morning of our departure. Cannot recommend this accommodation enough. Thank you!

the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with any request and even offering a simple breakfast, even though it wasn’t included in the price. We gladly left them some tips, but unfortunately, the accommodation itself cannot be rated higher than 4/10.

Convenient location on the main bus route, so easy to find. Also close to Oslob centre, the ferry, whale shark watching and a supermarket/department store. Wilma and Raul are very friendly, kind and helpful going beyond to make your stay a happy one. They ensured that I got a good gluten free breakfast and helped me with laundry. Raul very kindly dropped me off at the ferry for me to get to Bohol. I also enjoyed seeing the ruins, cathedral and waterfront activities in the evening.
