Highly recommend this place! Clean, spacious rooms that are excellent value for money and located just minutes from the whale shark point. The staff are wonderfully friendly and responsive. AJ was a massive help in organizing our transport and a superb trip to Kawasan Falls. To top it off, when the whale sharks didn't show up, they honestly gave us call And full refund even after I reached cebe. Incredible service!

We highly recommend this accommodation, we stayed one night before diving with the whalesharks. The staff were fabulous. Rooms very comfortable. Seating and huts by the beach perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and evening dinner (we got takeaway pizza and ate it by the beach). We booked our whaleshark dive through AJs and it was so easy, they pre purchased our tickets. The day before, confirmed our time for the dive as 7am, Angie meet us at the front desk and guided us. Just a five minute walk from the accomodation to the whaleshark dive area. Within 30 minutes we were in the water with these amazing creatures. We went back, had showers in the room. Checked out and headed off to our next stop, AJs also organised our transfer. All fantastic, great way to see the whalesharks.

We stayed at AJ’s Beach Resort for one night as a family of 4 with our two young children during our Philippines trip, and honestly they were the BEST hotel experience we had out of all 6 hotels we stayed at throughout our trip. From well before check-in day, their communication was absolutely amazing. They responded to emails so quickly every single time, which was incredibly helpful. In fact, because they were so efficient and helpful, I ended up booking all 3 of our Cebu hotel transfers through them as well. We had to book two rooms as there were 4 of us, and I genuinely think they could charge a lot more for what they offer. The rooms were exceptionally nice, modern, comfortable and spotless, and the location was absolutely perfect. The main reason we stayed here was to do the whale shark experience the following morning, and AJ’s organised EVERYTHING for us — the whale shark swim booking, a guide, underwater camera hire, and even one of their lovely staff members to nanny our 1.5 year old while we did the experience with our older child. Their service went so far above our expectations. If you are planning to do the whale sharks in Oslob, I would 100% recommend staying here and booking through them with a guide. We literally didn’t have to stress about a single thing — just turn up with the guide 15 minutes before our booking time and everything was handled seamlessly and perfectly. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, kind and genuinely helpful. We left feeling so happy with our stay and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Highly, highly recommend AJ’s Beach Resort!

“Staff needs a bit of training”

Very close to the whale shark watching area. We also found out that going there at 9am instead of 6 when everyone arrives , there is no queu . Our room was big. Seaview and confortable.

The location was excellent- we were looking for somewhere close to the whale shark adventure and AJs is literally about a 200m walk away! The staff were also excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us to book for the whale shark experience so that we didn't have to line up in long queues. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and beachfront.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel—easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. What truly stood out was the staff. They are likely the best hotel staff I have ever met: incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. They helped us book the whale shark experience online in advance, which meant we didn’t have to wait in the long lines—a huge plus. They also assisted in booking our Sumilon Island tour, making everything smooth and hassle-free. One moment that really impressed me was when the reception staff personally went out of her way to accompany us to the Bluewater pier, just to make sure everything was properly arranged for our trip to Sumilon Island. Another lovely touch is that you can order your meals from the restaurant next door and enjoy them by the sea in the hotel’s gazebos. It’s such a relaxing and scenic way to dine, and it really adds to the whole experience. This level of care and dedication is rare, and it made our stay truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking not just for a comfortable stay, but for genuinely outstanding service.

A very nice, clean and well appointed room. Unbeatable location for whale shark experience! Lovely staff. They organized transport and sightseeing for us - Aguinid falls were our favorites! (I know we probably paid a premium by organizing it all through the hotel, but everything was easy and well done). I also appreciated the ability to pay by credit/debit card - yes, there is a 5% convenience fee that many people have complained about. But I viewed it as convenience,(not a surcharge charge), as withdrawing cash or changing money would cost about the same... with the added inconvenience

My stay here is a highlight of the Philippines trip. The lovely facility is very clean and well-kept,next to the beautiful beach. Sleeping to the sound of wave is poetically beautiful. The staff here is sweet,Joshua and Nesa help me book Whale Shark Watching,and Niña wake up so early to help me take care of arrangements and getting in line,after that Lannie help me booked a ride to Tumalog and ensure I wont be overcharged. And I can see boss lady here has a high standard for service. I will definitely go back if I had chance to Cebu again.

The property exceeded all expectations, the room was well maintained and the bed was excellent. But the real star of the show is the beach out the front. You are literally 40m swim out to where the whale sharks are. You can sink beers on the beach and have an epic sunset. Couldn’t recommend the place more. The owner and staff were legends, they set us up with a guide to get the whale shark ticket (I’d highly recommend the guide, the whale shark ticketing centre is absolutely chaotic and we would of stood no chance without Ninya)

Amazing staff, helped book and plan so may things. So helpfull and sweet! We are deffently staying here again. Food was amazing, rooms were nice, bathrooms were really good to and just overall in love with it here.
