Overview
The iconic DFDS ferry sailing from Oslo to Copenhagen travels across Skagerrak and Kattegat, stopping in Frederikshavn on the way. Guests sleep comfortably in cabins at night and can enjoy the sunlight on the open deck during the day. The duration of the trip is 17 hours. All cabins have a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Certain guest rooms have a desk or seating area. Superior rooms have breakfast included. Guests on board can choose between an array of dining options. The Italian restaurant Little Italy serves simple and delicious pizzas and pasta, while Espresso House has a selection of cold and warm beverages, as well as pastries and sandwiches. Explorers Bistro serves a mix of Nordic and international dishes a la carte, while Explorers steakhouse features perfectly cooked steaks and ribs. After dinner, guests can grab a drink in the wine bar, listen to live music in the pub or dance the night away in the nightclub. Sea Shop offers tax-free shopping with a variety of designer clothes and accessories, quality wines and spirits, as well as Scandinavian sweets and homeware. Children can enjoy a range of activities on the ferry, including a children's club with maritime entertainment. There is also a pool and a hot tub available for a surcharge. This one-way cruise departs from DFDS Terminal at Vippetangen in Oslo and arrives at DFDS Terminal at Dampfærgevej in Copenhagen. A shuttle bus is available for a surcharge. Departures are at 15:00 every day, with an arrival at 10:00 the next morning. Afterwards, you’ll be free to explore what the city has to offer.

“Brilliant experience”
Absolutely amazing experience, couldn’t recommend enough if you’re going between Oslo and Copenhagen. Definitely recommend the evening buffet fabulous food. The room was amazing too. Tv wouldn’t work though but agh well

The staff were excellent and the ferry facilities were great and easily accessible. The commodore room with a window comfortable and allowed us to watch the view go by when we were in the cabin. Excellent service and food in the Nord restaurant.

The staff at Oslo were very helpful with booking me onto the Copenhagen shuttle. My cabin was smallish but plenty of room for one (4berth with bathroom ). Food on board was good. Lovely views coming out of Oslo.
