“Felt like I was in a movie.”
Felt like a movie, really lucky and happy I found this place, the room and house we stayed in has such a nice cozy vibe with a living room you can play ma y cds and watch tv, she made us breakfast in the morning, felt like I was apart of the family. Location is not bad depending if you have car or not, it was hard to rent one but the host was amazing and got us a car on the day we asked ready for us when we got to the port! I recommend anyone who has a love for japan and watched any type of anime in your life to stay atleast once!

“Phenomenal nature paradise”
Loved how tucked into a forest and serene, the house is extremely cozy and the host welcoming and kind! Had such a good sleep on the futon, falling asleep to the sound of crickets and camellia seeds dropping on the ground ❤️

Absolute Dreamhouse. Beautiful Garden. Jazz CDs to listen to. Two small bicycles for groceries. Easy to reach by Bus. Sweet and very welcoming host. Nice breakfast. Easy Check in and Out. Perfect get away Retreat.

“Beautiful stay on the island”
The host is very friendly. The traditional house was beautiful. We could also use the bikes and it was really fantastic cycling around. We went to an outdoor hot spring (as recommend by the host) and it was the best hot spring experience. Breakfast was tasty. And thanks for bringing us to the bus station the next morning. Our stay of 1 night was too short... hope to visit again!

“Very charming house”
I loved the house, a traditional Japanese house, very comfortable and charming. The owner was very helpful and a delight to talk to. The island is very interesting and I loved the outdoor onsens. I would suggest renting a car or scooter to explore the island better. I did a lot walking and took buses and taxis, but a car/scooter would make things easier.
