Just a 15-minute walk to Universal Studios Japan, USJに一番近いゲストハウス J-Hoppers Osaka Universal offers private and dormitory rooms with air conditioning. The hostel features free WiFi, 24-hour shared shower rooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a lounge room with a variety of board games. JR Ajikawaguchi Station is a 5-minute walk away. Beds in dormitory rooms come with a curtain to secure your privacy, while a reading light, power outlet and a security deposit box are also provided. Private rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring, bunk beds as well as futon bedding. Toilets and shower rooms are shared. Towels are provided at a surcharge. The shared kitchen is equipped with fridges, microwaves, toasters and electric kettles. Complementary coffee, tea and green tea are provided in the kitchen. There are coin-operated laundry machines and dryers for your convenience. There are some restaurants and a convenience store within a short walk from the hostel. The nearest Ajikawaguchi Station can be reached in 10 minutes from Osaka Station, and in 20 minutes from Shin Osaka Bullet Train Station.

“I will always choose this stay if i visit Osaka or USJ =)”
For the price, it is very worth it and easy to locate =) Walk either side for 2 Family Mart or Train Station, easy access Kitchen is very well equipped so no worries if you want basic coffee/tea or even heating/toasting up food

Very clean place, well equipped, well maintained. There is also a luggage room where you can store your luggage after check-out which is very helpful :). Staff was nice, english- speaking which is not usuall thing in Japan :). It was worth the money. Just to get to the centre you have to change twice but is still under 30min to get there.

Kitchen and dining common areas were very clean and welcoming, facilities were good, access to tea and coffee, shampoo and body wash, hair dryers. Proximity to the train station. Generally this place was a very good value for money.

“Nice option near USJ”
The facility was well maintained and clean. The location is close to the train station, and it is convenient to reach Universal Studios by train. A convenience store is nearby but the access is not direct (you have to go around along the main roads to reach it). The staff was kind and helpful and there is an option for them to take your photo wearing Hogwarts' uniforms. There is an option to leave your luggage.

“Great hostel.”
I loved the guest house system. Overall, everything was great. The only complaint I could make (but it's not the hostel's fault) is that some guests didn't follow the rules, such as noise or where they left their luggage, and it happened to me that they blocked my way.

“Perfect location for Universal Studios Japan (and Umeda)”
A great, lively place to stay. There's a very modern-looking and spacious lounge with plenty of places to sit and eat. There's also a large kitchen with several cookers, microwaves, cooking utensils, ample chopping space, etc. The bunks are large, with extra floor space beside the bed to store luggage. J-Hoppers is a 15-minute walk from USJ and a 3-minute walk to the nearest JR station. The staff were very friendly.

“Nice stay in Osaka, would definitely come back!”
Very clean, good facilities and the little storage space beside the bed was very convenient! Moreover, there's a locker room available before check-in and after check-out, plus a small one near the bed and some others in the bathroom. It's just 5 minutes walk from the station, although a bit far from the main attractions.
