“Not worth the price, you pay double! Go to Hotel Eden!”

Like having a night in a discoteca! There are flashing color lights on the façade of the hotel during the night and it passes by the window and the curtains: it’s impossible to sleep in some a the rooms at the front, same with a sleeping mask. Worst nights we had in Bolivia. I called the reception in the middle of the night and they said there is nothing they can do! Awful! Dont sleep there!

“Great location”

Excellent location. Comfortable bed. Bed linen, pillows and towels all very good quality. WiFi only so-so. Breakfast good if you're on a diet.

In one night there was a loud Party in the hotel until after midnight. The rooms have milky glas to the corridor. During the night the lights in the corridor permanently switch on and of, which shines into your room, so that you never have a dark room for a long time!

“Cosy room, great location”

Room was very cosy and comfy, nice and bright with a balcony and a nice view over the Virgen and the square. Very convenient location close to main tourist landmarks, but also well insulated from the noise outside. Supermarket downstairs, very convenient. Also a sauna downstairs but we didn't try it...

It was close to the church and teleferico for the virgen del Socavon. It is in a good location. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good too.

“Excellent location”

The room was as warm as we like it. This is important during July in Bolivia because the temperature drops below 0 during the night. The water pressure was also amazing along with the hot water 😄. We were also given a room on the 5th floor with a beautiful view overlooking at "la Virgen del Socavon"

I loved so many things about this hotel...The location was excellent as it overlooks Plaza del Folklore.The room was adequate in size and the en-suite was clean and had plenty of hot water.The room was serviced daily.Sleep quality was perfect....I enjoyed the breakfast each morning.The staff were friendly and helped me make contact with a tour company by telephone.....Many thanks to all the staff and especially to Victor....A very enjoyable stay.

“Comfortable hotel in a great location”

The hotel is in a great location, right next to the cable car and only a few blocks from the main square. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a nice large room on the 6th floor with comfortable beds and plenty of blankets. The room was lovely and warm, once we had worked out how to operate the gas fire, and it was good to have a fridge in the room. The WiFi was great for most of our visit, but it was poor on the final day for some reason. Breakfast was fine on day 1, but there was very little choice on day 2.

A room without natural light was provided when we have been in contact previously with the hotel to ensure that we will receive a room with windows; the Lady in reception was kind enough to rembourse our payment but we had to look for another hotel.

It took two days for them to accept that as foreign tourists we don't pay the IVA tax they tried to add to my bill. This is the law in Bolivia. Staff should be better trained to know this. We had room 204, terrible noise from water pump for the public sauna which was outside our window which had a gap in it too. They say they turn it off but they don't. Not at all a restful stay. Would never stay again.
