Overview
Surrounded by the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hotel Hartmann is a cosy mountain property located in the South Tyrol town of Ortisei. It has a free sauna and free WiFi throughout. Decorated in a traditional mountain style, rooms come with light-wood furniture and an LCD TV. Each has a private bathroom complete with a hairdryer and toiletries. At breakfast you can try local cold cuts and cheese, or opt for sweet options such as homemade cakes and jams. The management provides a free shuttle to/from the Blue Restaurant, which serves local à la carte cuisine. A bio-sauna, Turkish bath and solarium await you in the 50 m² wellness area of the Hartmann. Active guests can have the reception staff organise bike excursions, horse riding and climbing activities. The property is 800 metres from the centre of Ortisei. A bus stop located 100 metres away links with Bolzano/Bozen and Bressanone/Brixen, while a free ski bus takes you to the Sella Ronda ski area.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean, well maintained, and beautifully designed, which made our stay extremely comfortable. The wellness center was a real highlight — very relaxing, with a lovely sauna that was perfect after a long day of skiing. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. A special bonus was the personal driver service, which made getting to and from the ski lift easy and stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would happily stay here again.

Amazing location and views. The property was spotlessly clean, was beautiful and impeccably maintained. It was very conveniently located from the main center. And the decor of the place was superb. The staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional with so many options. The snack room and honor bar were a very nice touch. We really enjoyed our time in the sauna rooms. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice lounge and balcony to relax with free snacks in afternoon and an honesty bar in the evening. Parking direct by the hotel. Good walking path into centre of St Ulrich. Very clean and well-presented.

“Loved the hotel & hope to return soon”
Very pleasant stay, the lovely young lady on the front desk gave us lots of helpful tips about how to see the area. Hotel was beautiful, plentiful breakfast and loved the pastries that you could help yourself to in the afternoon when returning from a day out hiking, enjoyed on the balcony. Easy parking for the car which we didn’t need during our stay as everything was in easy walking distance or we used the free bus.

“Exceptional hotel”
We had an amazing few nights in Alpstay and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff there. The beds were very comfortable and guaranteed a good nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of options to choose from and food was very fresh Chiara on the front desk was exceptional and really made our time special - we really appreciate all her help Overall a wonderful hotel that we will highly recommend
