Overlooking the River Lillån, this family-run hotel is quietly located in central Orsa. It offers a private bridge, a breakfast room with river views and rooms with free WiFi. The individually designed rooms at Hotell Strandvillan B&B feature wooden floors and include a seating area, a kettle and cable TV channels. Bathrooms are complete with shower and hairdryer. “This hotel was the perfect stopover but should have stayed longer to appreciate the hotel surrounds.”
Our room was lovely. It was spacious, we loved the view and appreciated the space to sit on comfortable chairs. The hotel and surrounds were quiet. We also appreciated the breakfast in the morning. It is so good to have breakfast provided. There was a good selection of foods and the dining room was welcoming. We appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the small fridge. The host recommended a local restaurant. We were so pleased we followed his advice because we had an outstanding meal made with fresh ingredients and were entertained by fantastic live music!

“A splendid stay in Orsa”
This was a quiet, comfortable and clean room in a compact hotel beside the lake inlet. We felt immediately at home in what felt like someones' big house. The bed was very comfortable with powerpoints nearby, there was countertop space by the bathroom sink, and a thermo mixer in the shower, manufactured in the local area! For the summer warmth, there was a pedestal fan; very thoughtful. The windows opened wide to a splendid view across the water to a forest. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and there seemed something for everyone, with a nice outside terrace to enjoy the sunny morning especially at midsummer! The friendly owners were very helpful with any questions we asked, and made us feel right at home. Parking was free and right outside.

No rats in the room, but I expected there was high concentration of radon. My room was in the underground cellar, meant to be bombsafe.

This hotel is quietly situated overlooking the River, with a garden and first floor terrace taking advantage of its lovely position. This small town with shops and many restaurants are within a 5 mins walk, and there are lovely riverside walks to the lake . A perfect base for exploring this area of Sweden. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, comfortable and good buffet breakfast. The owners are so warm, friendly and very accommodating, perfect hosts.

“Good B&B at great location, perfect for a short stay”
Quiet location close to centre of town and with views of the river and lots of green. Very helpful owners Hakan and Carola who have travelled a lot themselves. Old charming house with cosy atmosphere. Free use of bicycles, canoe, sauna.
