“A Gem of a Guesthouse with a Wonderful Host”

Davide, the host and owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He is excited to share his knowledge and passion for Oristano and the region. He is truly an exceptional host...well read, thoughtful, and kind. He even arranged affordable local transport for us when we realized that the bus didn't run to San Giovanni di Sinis in the off season. The room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Breakfast was a pleasant Italian breakfast with plenty of fruit. Villa Serra is close to just about everything in Oristano and it is excellent value for money.

“An unforgettable experience”

Traveling always broadens your horizon. Getting to know new cities, new landscapes, new people is always a benefit and the most important reason why I travel in the first place. But there are also those special trips that you never forget. As Davide's guest at the Villa Serra B&B in Oristano, I was lucky enough to do just that. Not only was the accommodation spacious and tastefully decorated, with many antiques, beautiful pictures (many of which were taken by Davide's grandfather) and many lovely and harmonious details, not only was the location in the heart of the charming little town central yet quiet, not only did the shady garden invite you to linger, it was above all Davide himself who made this trip unforgettable. His friendly, reserved and yet open manner is captivating. His wide interest in art, literature and music led to many conversations. The word "guest" is often used lavishly in tourism, but here we were truly valued guests. We will be back because there is so much to discover and even more to talk about. A truly unforgettable "holiday within a holiday" for us.

Great and beautiful place to stay. The house has a bright mid-20th century atmosphere, and next to the house there is a garden with a family of cute cats. Although this place is in the old town, it is very quiet. At the same time, it takes only a few minutes to walk to the most important sights and restaurants of the city. Special thanks to our host. His advice helped us a lot to have a great time in Oristano.

He was not only charming but also incredibly helpful throughout our visit, offering valuable advice and recommendations. The accommodation itself was cozy & comfortable, creating an ambiance that made us feel right at home. Villa Serra's location was perfect for our exploration of western Sardinia, allowing us to discover both the town and the beautiful surrounding areas. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Serra for a delightful and truly memorable experience if you're visiting Oristano. To this day, our group are still talking of how lovely and hospitable David was throughout our stay!
