“Great hosts, amazing property for young children!”

A fantastic place to take children. There are so many facilities for them, from a trampoline to a swimming pool, hot tub, play house with their own loungers, swings… and inside there are lovely wooden toys and puzzles, lots of DVDs and child-friendly sofa! Luliana and Pierre are the most conscientious hosts that we have EVER stayed with. The will do anything within their power to make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable. The kitchen is so well kitted out and really we didn’t need to bring half the things we brought with us for the holiday! For a holiday with young children I highly, highly recommend it. There’s everything you need to relax and enjoy your own holiday whilst they have fun! You might see from the map that there’s a fairly busy road beside it, but it’s not easily accessible from the gîte so you don’t have to worry about kids running over to it. Everything to do with the gîte is focussed towards the back garden. The advantage of being on this road is that you can get to towns quickly and easily, and because there’s another building in between, you don’t hear it as much as we thought we would. Plus the master bedroom is at the back of the house!! There are so many thoughtful touches about the gîte that I can’t list them all, but a perfectly placed parking space in the shade was a life saver with little kids. The last little touch that we loved were the strawberry plants by the back door so the kids could pick their own fruit! Don’t hesitate to go and lie in the hot tub and watch fabulous birds soar above (we saw bee eaters and a bonelli’s eagle) or take a stroll along the old farm’s paths to pick blackberries, or bounce to your heart’s content on the huge trampoline! We’ll be back.

“Beautiful farmhouse in the French Countryside with everything you would want and need in a rental”

There was so much to love about Mas de Férigoulet! I have traveled all over Europe and the US and this is my favorite rental. The hosts were so, so lovely, and although they were close by, our house and space in the garden felt like our own. The farmhouse is located in the gorgeous French countryside and is a short drive to historic cities, villages, and nature sites. The home has everything you would need and want. Appliances, cookware, and cutlery to make whatever it is you would want to eat. Endless amounts of quality coffee and we were provided with fresh apple juice from a local pure fruit juice company which was a nice treat. We loved having breakfast in the cozy kitchen. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. We didn't have one bad night's sleep during our 5-night stay. The house had air conditioning, but the home stayed cool enough that we barely had to use it. The bathroom was very modern and had an excellent shower. The living room had everything you would need for hanging out, playing games, watching movies/TV etc. We didn't spend much time watching TV, but my 4-year-old loved the games and we did enjoy some movies on our last nights there. We spent most of our time outside, which was our favorite part of the rental. A pool we swam in daily, a spa we relaxed in late at night when the weather cooled, A BBQ we made use of, a children's play area, a trampoline my kids loved, sun chairs to lounge, and a table under a weeping willow tree that we spent hours upon hours sitting at every evening and well into the night having chats. The trees and plants in the garden make this space so very special. The lighting the hosts have set up in perfect places gives it a wonderful ambiance at night. We were able to pick fruits and vegetables from the garden which was such a special touch. I really can't say enough about how lovely our stay was. My family and I miss it already.
