“Friendly welcome at Hostel Twins”

Comfortable stay at Hostel Twins. Everything about the accommodation was as described in the description.. Great, quiet rural location convenient to Airport, Jasen park and Skopje etc. Tihomir is an excellent host who speaks fluent English. He is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He also cooks a tasty breakfast. Hostel Twins is a rare example of great personal service. Well done.

“A home away from home”

Not a fancy place, but has everything one needs :) It is not far from Skopje, but so calm and quiet. (The neigbors have a rooster, but you get used to it). I especially enjoyed my evening and morning chats with the owner Tihomir. If I ever go back to North Macedonia I will 100% go see him again. Cute dogs, cute cats, cute gardens.

Our short stay exceeded our expectations, Ticho served us great food and helped us with early morning taxi to the airport.

The host was really great. He even cooked for us as we arrived late and the next restaurants are 8/9 km away. He even shared the first watermelon from his garden with us.

“Amazing host, beautiful scenery”

Amazing host, very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight and he had food ready when we arrived, which was totally unexpected. The area around the property and the views are beautiful.

“Perfect start for our Macedonia trip”

We got a lot more than we expected, because we felt like visiting family. Tiho is the best host we ever had. He waited for us until middle of the night because our flight was delayed and made best vegan breakfast and dinner for us we could imagine. We had great talks and even visited him again before flying home, just to see him (and his lovely pets) again. Hes so warm-hearted and nice. The location near Skopje Airport is perfect. Its quiet, though and you are in nature.

“Do yourself a favour with an awesome and authentic Macedonian experience”

For an authentic Macedonian experience, make sure you spend a night or two (or more!) with Tiho. We had an amazing time. It's an easy 30min train trip from Skopje (buses also). It is also pretty close to the airport, so no need to stay in Skopje. Tiho is so much fun, with his stories and sense of humour. Don't be put off by the rustic exterior of the accommodation, the rooms are spotlessly clean, beds comfy, shower is hot. There's an awesome verandah outside the room to soak up the morning sun, while sipping a Macedonian coffee or drinking a Rakia. For a small extra, Tiho might also cook you dinner. Best meal we had so far in Macedonia.

“A host with a big heart…and humor😀”

The owner/host and his young assistant made my stay to a nice experience. The buildings and the facilities are not the most modern kind, but the soul and atmosphere of this place is unique.

This is the right choice if you are looking for an authentic experience from North Macedonia. Meeting Tihomir was a life experience. This guy built the whole facility by his own hands, incredibly inspiring and hard working man with a golden heart. We are coming back for sure. Do not expect any superb comfort and high standards of bathrooms or beds - they were completely OK and served its purpose, we just loved the place! It was also very dog friendly and our two border collie girls felt like having a great adventure there :-)

We decided to stay at the Twin Hostel for our last night in Macedonia. The location is very nice and close to the airport. The host is so friendly and the food is very good. We would come back when we would go to Macedonia.
