“Interesting stay in a new area”

Very friendly staff, spacious room, the most wonderful breakfast in France, incredible choice, all local - just superb. Restaurant nearby where you can try local dishes and wine.

Nestled in a lovely town near Puy de Dôme, this auberge has very friendly staff, simple but lovely rooms, and the continental breakfast had good quality and plentiful options. We thought the price to quality ratio was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The hotel allows check ins as of 5 pm. From that time onwards we waited in the cold for more than one hour for someone to turn up to let us in. The receptionist told us that she is scheduled to start work at 6 pm! The woman whom we paid the next morning pretended not to understand what had happened the night before, but was obviously aware of the situation. Not recommended!

Located in the centre of the very attractive village opposite the church. Comfortable room with excellent breakfast. Enjoyed meal at the restaurant which is in the same square after mass in the church

Great place - the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was great (shower), the linen and towels so soft!!! The staff very friendly, the breakfast was also wonderful with a lot of options and delicious local meats and cheeses. The hotel restaurant was also very good with local food and dishes. Parking is just in front and free

Orcival was an interesting little village in the heart of the Ahvergne , the hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable although our bathroom was a bit cramped. The breakfast on offer was excellent and good value . We ate at the restaurant Le Cantou and had a super dinner of local specialties and very generous portions!!! The staff were lovely and everywhere was very French which for us is the whole point, we heard hardly any English spoken, we really felt we were in authentic France

“Comfortable stay in a lovely village”

The breakfast was good, continental, with plenty of choice. The area was lovely, lots of walks & choice of places to eat in the village.The restaurant attached to the hotel had good food at a reasonable price.

Great hotel to stay, the village was very interesting and small, well off the beaten track.

Breakfast was OK, good but not exceptional. Dinner menu in the restaurant was limited and some items not always available however the food was very good.

Very picturesque village

Beautiful location with a view of the Basilisk. Parking right outside the hotel and everyone was really welcoming and nice. We had a lovely time thank you

A largish terrace was included with our room. Dove shower gel and shampoo. Very good choice at buffet breakfast.
