The hotel has obviously had a recent refit and was well appointed and very tastefully refurbished. It was off season and very quiet, with not many places open, however, the location was central and no doubt later in the year, with better weather, will be completely different. The staff were friendly and very helpful and there was a good selection and plenty to eat for breakfast. There is a fantastic little bakery opposite for sweet treats and coffee. Visitors must visit the massacred village.

Close to the war memorial village, which was the reason to visit. Picturesque location in the ‘village square’. Clean and owner was friendly and helpful despite our very late arrival at 9.30pm due to a 4 hour hold up due to a road closure for an accident. We had updated her and others were affected.

Absolutely exceptional hotel. Staff were incredible, very friendly and offered a lot of advice for the area. Rooms were perfect and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect - croissants, fruit, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, list goes on… Would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the area.

Hotel De La Glane is situated in the centre of the small town and is very near to Oradour Sur Glane Memorial village. You can walk there in about 20 minutes or it is just a few minutes drive away. We were greeted on our arrival by the very friendly hostess and shown to our room which was immaculate and very nicely furnished. The room wasn't massive but was very well thought out for storage and the bathroom was a very good size, with plenty of toiletries supplied. Towels and bedding were of very good quality and the bed was comfy too. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from, very good selection.

Excellent hotel to visit the museum. Very clean and friendly. The town does seem to close once the museum closes so eat prior to that if possible. Beautiful quiet and peaceful.

The Hotel is spotlessly clean. The bed is comfy with tea and coffee facilities and an excellent en suite shower. There is a garden where you could enjoy a drink from the bar. There is free parking immediately outside the door. It is a short walk of about 100m to the memorial site. Around the square outside are a few traditional bars and restaurants. With the exception of Cafe Francis they are only open for lunch. The breakfast at the Hotel is good value with a varied selection. The Hotel has free WiFi. Excellent Hotel

A very quiet and peaceful place. Cozy hotel and very nice staff. The croissants in the morning for breakfast are fresh made and delicious.
