This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. I paid for a Deluxe Room but was given a standard, smaller room due to their "technical problem." The staff explicitly promised a refund for the price difference, but they never sent it. When I followed up, the management became immediately hostile and accusatory. They completely reversed their position, retracting the refund promise and falsely claiming I had an "unreported third person" to avoid paying. Their unprofessional response included the statement: "You can deal with Booking, we'll fight back." Furthermore, the stay was marred by bizarre communication about a broken window, police involvement, and a damaged car in the parking lot, highlighting a complete failure in security and management. In summary: Broken promises, hostile staff, and false accusations. Book literally anywhere else.

Really good location and it was super clean. The shower was lovely. Really easy access to room (we were sent the code in advance of arrival and we had no problems). Well equipped.

The check in was very easy. I loved the vibe of the room and the whole building looked clean and well thought out. I would only change the pillows, they were big and they could turn flat very easily during the night.

Upon arrival room smelled beautifully and underfloor heating was turned on. Good size room for a short stay even for two people. Decor was new, looking sharp, all areas clean and bed comfortable. I appreciated a big table where I could work. Located close by car park with free parking after 6pm I guess

The location is right next to the city centre, the room was cosy, all new, clean and everything. I got all I needed for my work time and the rest I needed after a long day. I will definitely be accommodating here again when I'm in Opava.

This was my third stay at Lidovy dum and the quality of accommodation has only improved. Rooms are clean, dry, warm with modern facilities and comfortable bed. Easy PIN access.

I had a remarkable stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located near the city center. Its proximity to the university and various attractions within walking distance made it an ideal choice for me. The staff members were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future, as it provided a perfect combination of an excellent location and exceptional service.
