“Lovely bnb in a quiet rural village with amazing hosts and breakfast”
The hosts were extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating, with an eye for details and are very well organized. The breakfast is amazing with a great variety of vegetarian food incl. freshly made salad and cut fruits. The location is very quiet, with beautiful surroundings and access to the small canals. Canoes are free to use for guests. Adorable alpacas!

A Perfect Countryside Retreat – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marja’s B&B in the beautiful countryside of Medemblik, near Amsterdam. From the moment we arrived, Marja made sure we felt completely at home. She greeted us warmly at the entrance, gave us a thorough introduction to the property, and ensured we had all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. A special highlight was when she took the time to show us her adorable alpacas—such a delightful and unexpected treat! The B&B itself is a gem. The decor is both cozy and tasteful, with every detail carefully considered. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, from the spacious and modern bathroom to the inviting bedroom. The beds were large and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We also appreciated the free parking space, which was very convenient. The outdoor space is just as charming, with a lovely garden, tables, and a large terrace available for guests to enjoy. The tranquil surroundings, including the picturesque canal and gardens, made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location offers stunning views of the surrounding farmland, adding to the overall sense of peace and relaxation. In short, Marja’s B&B exceeded all our expectations. Her kindness, attention to detail, and the beautiful setting made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in the Amsterdam countryside. I have traveled to more than 20 countries in my life, and can’t wait to return here!

Nice place to enjoy the nature. Beautiful view opens in the morning direct from bed. Friendly Sisters owing this location was very helpful and opened. Huge breakfast 👍

This is a gem. We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Owners very welcoming and anxious to please. Charming location surrounded by water and fields. Room had everything we neeeded including fridge. Breakfast wonderful and good variety. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed everything, the owner was amazing, welcomed us, gave us tips, truly like a friend. The area is so beautiful not far from the sea, we explored it a bit in this part of the Netherlands is truly magical, I would definitely come back. The rooms are so comfortable very stylish decor, amazing very tasty (local) breakfast, and general amenities we felt so welcomed. Surrounding by water, and all this nature it's truly a haven. Truly quiet and peaceful place. I was very surprised and amazed by the architecture of the village, and really enjoyed walking there.

The owners are very friendly and classy. Thank you Marja and Lulu for everything. Amazing spot in the nature. Rooms are extremely clean and prepared with elegance. Breakfast is amazing with little surprises. We' ll come again for sure.
