The hosts were really kind and helpful. It was a peaceful place. It was very affordable. Perfect to do the Shimanami kaido. Not so far from Onimichi (bus and ferry available close by)

“Wonderful Hosts”

The hosts at this guesthouse were amazing- kind and helpful. The room was basic but spacious and comfortable with a mini kitchenette. The location is a fair distance from the train station, but easy enough to navigate on foot and by ferry. The hosts organised baggage forwarding for us which was super helpful.

It was great! The host was very friendly and helpful, they even received our luggage that we sent there which was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. They had bicycles free for use, which was also great. I recommend!

The host was very helpful and allowed us to use bikes for free so that we could cycle to the town to get dinner. Facilities were all great and we appreciated being able to wash and dry our clothes. The house was also very traditional Japanese style which was lovely for us. The host was generally very kind and helpful, gave us a warm welcome and send off when we left which was great!

I loved the low key, local, family feel of this guesthouse.

The property is owned by a family. Who were incredibly accommodating. Just the loveliest people, who I almost felt sad that we had only booked one evening. They had a massage chair, which riders probably use after the shimamani kaido route. The whole family used it. The room is spacious and really beautiful, and had everything we could need for our stay. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you to the family for sharing their accommodation with us. And for their hospitality. It goes a long way when you are travelling with kids.

The hosts are most welcoming. The guesthouse is homely, comfortable and clean. Great place to stay if renting a bicycle from the Mukaishima rental station. They kindly lent me a bike to go to the kombini and helped me post my bags via Yamato to Imabari.

“Great location, really nice place to stay for a couple of days”

Very friendly, his guesthouse is warmly, we feel good. I had good nights in the dormitory, we have a massage chair, and the shared equipment is good. I appreciated the rented bike waited for me the day i needed with all advices to bike around. Very good place, we have the choice with bus or ferry to join Onomichi which is much cool and cheap by Ferry.

Cozy house in a good location for getting back to the port area. Provided enough comfort for us to get some reasonable sleep. Shower/Bathtub was perfect for getting clean after a long day.

Nice little room, with futons cleanly stacked before our arrival, bathrooms were shared but clean - the owner was very kind and volunteered to bring us to the ferry that transits to the center of Onomichi, as well as to get breakfast the next morning

Lovely hosts.

Very generous and hospitable hosts. They kindly upgraded our room and offered us delicious fruit from their garden at breakfast. Very cosy rooms and welcoming environment.

The location was great and easy to get to shops and start the shimanami kaido. The host was very kind and was always open to helping us with anything. We could use bikes free locally or hire them at a good price to do the Shiminami kaido.
