Most of the attractions are in walking distance. It's good to take a morning walk around, especially before the tourist groups arrived.

“A great stay in a beautiful place.”
This was a fantastic place to stay, the house is in a beautiful area of Omihachiman with small winding paths and beautiful houses. It is close to shrines, and Mt Hachiman, which we hiked. We also rented bikes and cycled around the area through beautiful rice paddies. The house is bright, very well equipped with fully equipped kitchen. The owner Sun made sure we had everything we needed and even offered us a ride to the train station on our last day.
