Overview
Irene’s is a renovated, traditional house located in the centre of the village of Olympos, in Karpathos. It offers fully equipped accommodation decorated in the typical style of the island. The house of Irene is split in 2 levels. The ground floor features traditional beds called ‘soufas’ and a fireplace. On the upper floor, there is a balcony and kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave and coffee maker. A dining and a living area are also available. Within just 10 metres, guests can find a restaurant serving local delicacies. Cafés, taverns and shops are nearby. Diafani Beach is 5 km away. The northern port of Karpathos is 5 km away while the airport is at 40 km away. Free public parking is available near the premises.

“A charming and peaceful stay in the heart of Olympos.”
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is traditional and full of character, with a lovely little balcony to relax on. It’s in a great location—right on one of the main streets of Olympos, but still very peaceful in the mornings and evenings. Communication with the host was excellent throughout. Would definitely recommend!

“Perfect place from which to explore Olympos”
Irene’s House is exactly as it looks in the photos, positioned in a narrow street opposite a delightful little tourist shop. It is a wonderful ‘step back in time’ ,charming place and the location is right in the middle of this lovely town.

“Enjoyable comfortable stay in one of my favourite Greek villages”
This was my third trip to Olympos, first time at Irene's House. I enjoyed the place very much, it was conveniently located on the main street of the village, near the many excellent restaurants, very comfortable with a lovely view out to the rooftops and surrounding mountains.

“Best place in the North of Karpathos”
Wonderful place just in the middle of the village but very quiet. And authentic place. We liked it so much. Professional contact with the host. And Violetta the woman who cleans the house was wonderful,too.

A traditional house with modern facilities. Perfect for guests who want to experience Greek traditional living. The second floor is a large living room with balcony. Located at the heart of the Olympos village, guests feel as if they are part of the village.
