Very accommodating we arrived late and they kindly left door code and key for room at reception

“Nice hotel in lovely town.”

Bedroom big and stylish. Well decorated. Two BIG windows. Curtains don’t keep out the street lights. There are shutters. Double glazing kept out most noises. Good bed and bedding. Two bedside tables and lamps. Desk and chair. Wardrobe. Tele. Air con machine. Shower room is a bit small. Sloping roof; mind your head. Shower cubicle is big. Good shower. Free gel. Sink and hand soap. Toilet doesn’t have a soft close seat! Good toilet paper. OK towels. Cubicle a bit dark. Breakfast next door. Can include bacon, egg and beans. Black tea. Bread and jams. Juice. The town is wonderful. Worth a visit.

Good location. Emmanuelle on reception made us feel welcome and was very helpful regarding restaurant recommendations. We liked the breakfast which like the hotel was excellent value for money.

It was a lovely old building full of character. The staff were very helpful when I was unable to arrive until late at night and made sure I was able to get into the hotel and access my room. It was very close to the bus station which was also helpful

“Interesting hotel - beware of some street noise if you book the room close to busy street”

we had booked the Morrocian room - which actually is the biggest room but also the room with most street noise. If I had known that in advance when booking I would have asked for room not facing the noisy street. I know now that each floor has 4 rooms. I would recommend the booking shows a plan of how the rooms are situated according to the noisy street

“Oloron st Marie and the hotel were a disappointment”

Although the hotel is old, we did not find the level of maintenance to be acceptable. In short, the whole place had a shabby feel to it. Reception was only manned part time. There's no lift. The room looked out onto a noisy square with windows that didn't shut properly.

Stayed here in 2016 on a Camino. Came back for sentimental reasons on trip between Lourdes and the sea.

Good location, at the meeting of two rivers, and reasonably central to the rather dispersed centre of the town. Good breakfast, friendly staff. The rooms are very interesting, themed on countries of the world. We were in "China" - some exquisite furniture and a lot of attention to detail. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here.

The location was perfect and the staff was very kind. The room was very cute and the beds were the most comfortable I tried in a long time. The bathroom had everything needed along with a hairdryer. The breakfast was perfect too.

Basic hotel with quite large rooms and very good service. Breakfast is available and good. City centre is nearby with some good restaurants.

First impression is not good but the room was ok. You are given a code to come & go as no one around.

“Historic with mod cons.”

Interesting building, built in the 800s. Previously the Bank of France. The proprietor was lovely. She was very helpful when we rang to say we'd been held up so would be arriving very late..The bedroom was large and comfortable - and quiet. The shower was nice and powerful. Breakfast was individually made and served on a tray. It comprised fresh bread, croissant, jams and a mixed fruit salad with natural yogurt. Delicious. Parking immediately opposite was free at night until 1000.
