“A useful accommodation for a two night stay.”
The location was good, just on the edge of Oloron Ste Marie with easy access to shops and to the main roads. The chalet was at the end of the site in a peaceful grassy area. It was adequately equipped for cooking meals and the beds were comfortable.

I made a late arrival. The gentleman on reception was very helpful. The timber A frame accomodation was extremely comfortable and surprisingly warm and certainly better than pitching my tent in the dark.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience at this place. The staff were unfriendly, and I didn’t feel comfortable during my stay. The place itself was underwhelming. The floor was wet, possibly from cleaning, and the smell of cleaning products was very strong. There weren’t any real blankets, only thin, paper-like ones, which was very unpleasant. The facilities were also disappointing. The building near the cottage was closed, so I had to go to the other side of the campsite, which was quite dirty. On top of that, the WiFi was very poor. Overall, I would not return. There wasn’t really anything positive that stood out during my stay.

“Great little site close to town”
Never stayed in a wooden tent before and actually thought it was pretty cool for the money. I have a good night sleep ready for the roads ahead ☺️

Very convenient little wooden tent with electric light which meant we didn't have to put up our tent in the rain. And we could charge up our phones.
