“Superb old-English country realness”

First of all, Kathleen went above and beyond to provide everything we needed for our stay. A wonderful, warm and welcoming host. Even during covid times, we were able to enjoy an excellent and home-made breakfast in the privacy of separated breakfast rooms, suitable for our early starts over a F1 race weekend. There was also no shortage of dinner options available in the neighbouring towns. The room (suite with sauna) was spacious and comfy, the garden very peaceful.

We are already missing this place. It is the kind of stay that we will keep reminiscing for years and years to come. The B&B is charming as expected but our stay is made lovelier because of Katleen. She exudes a natural warmth that makes you feel at home. She puts a lot of thought into the service she provides especially with the breakfast. We hope to be back someday. Thank you, Katleen! For the location, we were able to explore popular attractions (Durbuy, Monschau, Remouchamps, Hautes Fagnes, Ninglinspo) from this B&B.

“Highly recommended”

The B&B is in a beautifully conserved 18th century house. Our room was large and comfortable. The private sauna was great after a day of hiking. We especially enjoyed the home-made breakfast with local products. There's a supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby, and many hikes in the area.

Lovely big bedroom and bathroom in a characterful old house. The bed must have been very comfortable as we slept for 12 hours! Exceptionally friendly host, so pleasant to chat with. Breakfast on the terrace was absolutely fantastic, with a delicious range of local and homemade produce. We ate it all, it was so wonderful! Would definitely stay again and recommend without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay here after fighting through the snow to get there! Our host was really kind and the accommodation is beautiful. We will definitely be staying again next time we visit family in the area.

Bed was really comfy, really nice shower and bath, fresh towels were available at all times, easily accessible from Nessonvaux train station, staff were lovely and very accommodating, food was lovely lots of options and very tasty.

Very authentic place with lot of charm and history. Its a horses in the backyard - we love it! The bedroom was old, big and beautiful and the bathroom was very big! The outdoorplace where we get breakfast was very nice and idyllic. The breakfast was excellent - one of the best I have ever taste. We asked for vegan and it was no problem. The food was mostly homemade and from the local area. The hosts was so friendly and kind. I recommend this place very much.

“Great B&B with Wonderful Hosts!”

We had a wonderful stay here at B&B Aux Quatre Bonniers! Katleen and Kris were the most gracious and friendly hosts - it was like staying at a friend's house. The breakfast was exceptionally good. Katleen explained that all of the food was either from their garden or the local area. Everything was delicious. They are located in a wonderful little village with great restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

“The perfect weekend”

First of all we loved the hosts. The warm welcome, care, openness and sense of freedom. The love for heritage and books. Second, we loved all about our stay, starting from a superb breakfast, exploring the surroundings and resting in the house. The old is mixed with new and there is a scent of an old welcoming house. A house with a character. Third, we love the aftertaste of our stay. We keep smiling and we will return. Actually it is weird to write so much good and then hope that we will be able to find a slot to book again and bring our friends. “Charming and peaceful stay”

We absolutely loved our stay at Kathleen's! The house is really charming, and the garden area is peaceful and beautiful. Even during covid times we were able to enjoy an excellent local and home-made breakfast in the privacy of separated breakfast rooms. There was also no shortage of amazing dinner options available. The room (suite with sauna) was spacious and comfy, and the sauna was a true Finnish sauna. Everything felt very authentic, clean and charming in this old countryside mansion that was also easy to arrive to by car. Hiking routes are also easily accessible from the location. I warmly recommend Aux Quatre Bonniers!
