The setting is lovely and the sound of the river flowing is very soothing.

It was quiet and just 7 min from the center. The breakfast was excellent with juice, coffee/tea, scrambled eggs, bread, cheese and jam. Hot water in the shower and sink with good pressure. Great value for money.

We stayed here two times, before and after our trip to Machu Picchu and we felt very welcome! The staff was very kind and they were so careful tending to our needs. The property is run by a lovely couple and it felt like a family stay at times. The breakfast was great and it was more than enough to start our day. They let us store our luggage during our trip to Machu Picchu and it made a great difference not having to carry heavy backpacks around.

“Gorgeous Lodge in Ollantaytambo”

The hosts Edith and Stign (Stan) made us extremely welcome. We wanted to stay in a more rustic, original type of accommodation and this ticked all the boxes. I requested a room overlooking the river which was very relaxing with the water at night. The shower pressure and heat was superb. The beds were really comfortable with lots of bedding (if you felt cold) The property may be a little far to walk for the unfit ( we are mid 60s ) but little 3 wheel taxis are in abundance from the square ( 15 mins walk ) Stan organised a taxi for us on our trip to Machu Picchu to the train station ( 7-8mins ). We did walk back at night. The breakfast consisted of a gorgeous fresh fruit salad, finished off with a little flower. Scrambled eggs and flatbreads. With juice and coffee. We would quite happily stay here again. Give it a go.

“Amazing stay”

Amazing Accommodation! My room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I only got the bread but they have fruit salad, eggs and coffee. The view was incredible too. I could see the archaeological site from my window. It’s only a 7min walk to the plaza so that means it’s quiet compared to the center. Very friendly owners and staff i felt really welcome here. Would 100% recommend this place to solo travelers and people travelling in group!

“2 nights in Ollantaytambo”

Comfortable room with a powerful and hot shower. Breakfast was great and one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had in Peru, and we also got a packed breakfast when we had an early start one morning. The hostel let us store our bags for free when arriving early and after checking out which was a real help. Hostel is well located for exploring all the town has to offer and a good base for excursions further afield.

We stayed two nights at Quechuas Lodge with our kids (7 & 9 years). Its really nice to sleep to the sound of the river. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is great and they even made our kids’ pancake wish come true – such lovely and thoughtful hosts!

Lovely family run hotel just out of the centre of Ollantaytambo. The room was comfortable and breakfast was substantial. What made this hotel exceptional is the hosts Edith and Stan, you will not find a warmer welcome anywhere on your travels. Edith was so helpful arranging a transfer from Cusco airport, sorting out a tuk tuk to take us to the rail station, and arranging a return to Cusco and somewhere to store our bags while we looked around. We were only here a few days but felt like we were staying with friends. Superb.

The room was what we expected, sufficiently clean and big with a great view. The breakfast was excellent, all freshly prepared and a lot of fruit from their own garden. Even the coffee they had grown themselves. The owners were incredibly nice and chatty. Upon departure they even shared some chocolate from their own garden with us.

Very pleasant stay in a quiet location of Ollantaytambo but close to the historical site, main quare and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. Edith and Stijn are very friendly, warm and helpful.
