“Most enjoyable”

The host was extremely helpful and reacted rapidly to any questions. The location was perfect for the real Olinda experience. Everything was in walking distance and the local community made visitors feel welcome. The communal kitchen was suitably fitted out which also had a beautiful view of the lower part of the township. The beds were comfortable and the cool showers, a blessing as the ambient temperature was never cold. As a matter of interest, music lovers would find it interesting to chat to the host as he is an accomplished musician with previous international gigs.

The host is a very kind, welcoming guy. There is a reasonably well equiped kitchen, a clean swimming pool, and it is located fantastically near, though not quite in, to the city's historical site (which is a good thing, given the need to rest at night). Totally recommended.

Great location where you have peace and quiet from the city with really friendly hosts great service and really nice pool and facilities. Lots of plants and things makes it a really nice atmosphere to chill out in.

Wonderful place! Very friendly owner who took his time to explain and give useful tips when I arrived. I was upgraded to a better room since that room was "free anyway". The kitchen is very well equipped. The pool wasn't working during my stay but I was immediately offered a discount because of this. Nice view from the room, very close to the historic center.

The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and provided lots of advice. The hostel was very beautiful with good facilities, including a kitchen and pool. And the location was great, a short walk from the historic centre. We loved our stay, would recommend!

Great stay! Very clean & comfortable, with touches to make it feel homely. Daniel was very welcoming and can advise on the local area. Brilliant location by centre, feels safe. Kitchen is spacious & well stocked with utensils, dishes & appliances. Shower had good pressure. Would be out first choice on a return to Olinda.

Not much really .starting with a false advertized "twin bed" when it's small singles!! In a Stange ally with a weird owner!Anyone coming down the kit hen can see u in bed?!
