Huge room, the most delicious breakfast in Brazil, very patient and responsive hosts. There is music from neighbors some evenings, but never too late, could be atmospheric.

A nice spacious room with a view of the garden. The house is decorated with fine art and is clean and attractive. Breakfast was enjoyable and the hosts provided us with early service on the day of our departure. The location is excellent to explore Olinda and we felt safe at all times. The property provided an excellent refuge during some heavy unseasonable rain.

The guest house is in a great location and the service was fantastic! Great communication, fast response and super helpful all round. My room was super spacious and the common area is beautiful. The breakfast had a good variety of food with freshly made tapioca, couscous, eggs and juice. I contracted the tourist guide services provided by Tessa and it was a fantastic experience as she is very knowledgeable and super friendly! I highly recommend her services as well as the accommodation at the guest house!

“Wonderful week”

I had an amazing stay here! The house is gorgeous – it's beautifully decorated and full of character. I loved opening the windows to enjoy the evening breezes (it is winter at the moment!). My room was very comfortable and had good A/C, hot water, and WIFI. Graça was so helpful in organising my stay and suggesting things to do, and Rita made an amazing breakfast every morning. Olinda is a charming and very easygoing place. I can't wait to come back! Obrigada!

Excelent host: Graca made sure my family was well taken care of. The property is an attraction itself, new bathroom and extra towels were offered for other members of family who were passing by before a flight. She suggested trips, guides, tranfers and restaurants. Everything recommended was on point, so you can trust every suggestion 100%.

There are way too many things to like about this property! #1 is the owner, Pedro! He is a wonderfully kind and knowledgable host, very attentive and an all round interesting human being. #2 was the decor, it felt like we were in a beautiful art gallery mixed with a warm homely vibe. #3 the room was very spacious, clean, fabulous wooden floors, huge windows were you are meet with a vibrant greenery from the trees and plants outside.

“Special Boutique Experience”

Such a special boutique experience. I’m going to start with the accommodation itself. As soon as you walk in you’ll feel at home in this beautiful space that is decorated with local art, including some of the owner’s photos. This historic home has been updated to be both comfortable and stylish. We felt like we had our own private space but could be social and get help if we wanted. Nice breakfast and very good WiFi (video calls and streaming no problem). We stayed in the ground-floor room and loved the layout and the windows. Now for the host Pedro. Pedro went above and beyond, helping us order food to be delivered when we had trouble doing it ourselves, booking tickets to Latin America’s biggest annual craft fair on it’s final night (thank goodness, the line to purchase onsite was a couple hundred people long), suggesting local live music and so much more. We loved his suggestions, hearing his stories and spending time with him. I felt like I was getting a private tour by a local artist… oh wait, I did get a private tour by a local artist. We left feeling like we’d made a new friend (we’ve been traveling full time for six years and have never written that in a review). So if “all” you get is a relaxing and gorgeous place to stay in the middle of all that Olinda has to offer, it’s already a win, but if you are lucky enough to stay while Pedro, the owner, is in town, it’s a double win. Book it now while it is available.
