Cozy location, beautiful house

Last minute booking from us to spend a night under the roof and not in camping. We had the full house almost fully for us. Staff was friendly. If you like horses this is probably the place to go.

Lovely location with nice views and a short drive to the supermarket. The house is very clean and cosy and I loved seeing the horses every day. They even have little memories to take home such as free postcards and horseshoes or handmade sweaters to buy.

A great place to get in touch with the Iceland Horses. Cora‘s House & Horse is a guesthouse on the one side and also home to 20-30 horses. People can only book a room or a horse tour or they can live and ride at Cora‘s place. The rooms are clean and warm, the kitchen is well-equipped and the horses are super well-trained showing a kind character. Best conditions for great holidays even when it is a rainy 4h tour to the beach. You are in best hands here.

Went for the horse riding trip even though it was raining and misty that day but 100% worth it! Budget friendly place to stay!

Room was very warm and beds were comfortable. A fully functional kitchen was really a godsend allowing for cooking our own food. Horse riding from fully trained staff was a great addition.

Cora's place was wonderful and comfortable! Everything was exceptionally clean, the room was bright and cozy, the kitchen extremely well-equipped and well-organised with a large window. And even though it's close to Reykjavik (40m by car), we managed to see some auroras here!

Despite being the most budget-friendly place we stayed at during our Icelandic adventure, our experience at this guest house was wonderful. The welcoming atmosphere set the tone for our stay. The fully equipped kitchen, stocked with everything you could possibly need, including kitchen weights, was a pleasant surprise. The entire house maintained impeccable cleanliness and was free from any unpleasant odors. Though our room was on the smaller side, it exuded coziness, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. After our muddy hiking adventure in Kerlingarfjöll, Cora kindly provided us with a garden hose and brushes to clean our boots. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The property is extremely warm and cozy. The horses around the house make it more beautiful. Our room was spacious and well kept. We also used the shared kitchen which was very helpful.
