Overview
Located in Olderdalen village by the Lyngenfjord, Håkon Gjestehus offers an à la carte restaurant and free Wi-Fi access. Guest rooms include a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. My 8th hotel in Norway and the first with a split unit airco so the room is also cool when it's hot outside. Also the first hotel with more than 1 english language television channel. Very friendly host.

“Stayed overnight for rode trip, good place to be”

“Very satisfied”
We chose this guesthouse because of its location. We stayed two nights. Tho host was very friendly. The room was big, bright and clean. The window was next to the highway but the traffic did not bother us, even when window was open. Breakfast was good and contained bread slices, crackers, butter, ham, salami, jam, egg omelet (or fried the next day), fruits. Also, a small yogurt and musli Coffee from machine., warm water and teabags. Apple and/or orange juice. In the town of Olderdalen the price of petroleum was much cheaper than in Tromsö

“Lovely calm place to rest and visit the Gorda waterfall.”
Situated in a very calm village, close to the fjord. There is an amazing cycling or pedestrian walk aside the main road making easy walking or cycling safely while looking at the amazing fjord 😍 the owner is so helpful and kind. The Breakfast is very tasty prepared by the 👩🍳 and I recommend to eat dinner as well (Norwegian or thaïlandaise very tasty dishes) very good deal quality/price

The place was small but cozy and the staff friendly. The room was really clean and nice and had fridge and air condition. The best surprise was the breakfast that was served individually and was really plentiful and varied. Really enjoyed it.
