We loved that the owner provided additional amenities provided in the kitchen free of charge, as well as toiletries in the showers. Highly recommend!

“Clean comfy and convenient with helpful staff.”

The communal Kitchen was clean and well supplied with basics. The hostel was an easy fifteen minute walk from the train station and the Genleman who welcomed us was helpful and kind.

“Very helpful owner and well appointed rooms”

Lovely, very helpful owner - he made our time in Okayama easy, and helped a lot with our trips on to Naoshima Island and to the Shimanami Kaido. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds comfy. The shower downstairs is great!

Really good stay !

The place was well-located and clean. The room was nice. It's a guest house so no private bathrooms in your own room. There is a common area and a well equipped kitchen

Kind, helpful owner. Well equipped kitchen. Cleanliness was excellent and the room is reasonably spacious and comfortable. There's even a Japanese-style bath on premises.

Exceptionally nice owner, very helpful, agreed to store my luggage while I am visiting the islands. Big room, nice night lamp and comfortable futon bed.

“Good value for the price”

The place is clean. Water is hot in the shower. It's relatively inexpensive. The room is comfortably large enough for the two of us. The manager is friendly and helpful. He is always available at the front desk.

Property is clean and beds are super comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s an older house, but facilities are great - really good value. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk from the station and loads of food options which was perfect for us.

I love the tatami and the fast it’s house and not a big building. It is also in a quite location.

A big and nice tatami room for yourself at the cheaper price than a capsule elsewhere ! All the guesthouse is clean with a good mood from the owner or the man un charge. Thanks for is kindness~

“Quaint little place, relatively close to the station.”

Check in was easy and staff responded quickly to emails/questions prior to arrival. Able to communicate effectively despite my lack of Japanese language skills, able to speak reasonable amount of English. Luggage storage available prior to check in. Clean rooms and facilities. Kitchen available, but I did not use these.

“One of the best accommodations I had in Japan”

I wish I could have stayed for longer. The facilities were spotless and tidy. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. The room was comfortable and beautiful. The environment in the house was really peaceful and it was really quiet at night. The manager was a very kind man, always there to help. I am thankful that I had the chance to stay here. Location was also perfect, less than 10 minutes walk from Okayama station. 100% recommend this place. I hope I can come back in the future!

“Comfortable stay”

The guest house was comfortable and located in a quiet location. The premises seemed new or had recently been updated. It was clean and well-equipped. The staff in charge, though not fluent in English, was very pleasant and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our two-day stay and managed to rest and recover from our flight.

“Very cozy Japanese guesthouse”

Cozy, nice futons! Good value. Had one of the best sleeps here in whole Japan. I like that you can shut the metal things outside the window to make the room dark.

It was nice to have a kitchen and washing machine, the owner was nice.
