A gem of a place. Beautiful setting and worth the extra 20 mins walk from the Camino. The host was delightful and gave us a lift in the evening to/from a fabulous restaurant. Breakfast was beautifully presented.

This is a gem. Yes it’s up a hill. But worth it. Owners are lovely. Will drop you into town for dinner.

Tranquil, peaceful. Hosts Anna and Xurxo went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and Xurxo was extremely accommodating in transferring guests to and from the nearby restaurant. The homemade breakfast is astounding, well worth waiting for at 8.30am, even if (as a pilgrim) you're keen to set off walking. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

The donkeys!!! What a beautiful rural stay while walking the Camino. The owner was super friendly and helpful and the small house we shared with friends was quaint and well equipped. It was really lovely to have such a peaceful stay in a beautiful location.

“A little gem with great hosts!”

The host was amazing, he gave us a lift up the hill to his beautiful home from the local hotel, where we had dinner, after our long walk on the camino. The facilities were excellent, a lovely shared space for peregrinos and lovely rooms with private shower room. The shower was really great and meeting the donkeys was a wee bonus... smashing location! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the host accommodated peregrinos buy changing breakfast time to suit our early start.

The location in a very peaceful and quiet village high above the sea makes the charm of this place. Old stone houses, blooming flowers and even donkeys which can graze freely around the area give this place a very special touch. Despite the remote location, WIFI is working fast and shower pressure is excellent. Without a car a little bit difficult to get to, but I guess it is also suitable for pilgrims passing by on the Portuguese Camino. Owners very quiet, kind and friendly people. Did not regret a second to have booked this place!

Authentic and beautiful interiors. Hearty host. The constant sound of the small river streaming down next to the garden.

Everything was great and the hosts were more than welcoming , even offered to drive us to dinner but we didn’t need the service but was very kind to offer as weather was awful

Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing us with a cold bottle of water upon arrival. They even offered to drive us to dinner since there was nothing around the property. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment looked just like the pictures. The location is over 1 km away from the Camino, and the entire road is uphill, which can be quite a challenge after a long day of walking, so be prepared for this. The breakfast they prepared was amazing, featuring yogurt, fruits, cake, and coffee, served at 8 AM. The living room and kitchen were well-equipped, and there’s a beautiful garden with two adorable donkeys where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility, as the property is situated at the end of the village.

“Charming self contained bijoux”

Our hosts were most welcoming and friendly and the cottage was clean.. The accomadation (seperate from the main house) is a well thought out conversion of a small outhouse, which they had turned into a charming 2 (small double) bed, 2 bath, openplan living kitchen area. Completely self-contained away from the house, the cottage well equiped (no TV) near to the camino trail. Wifi & mobile reception were good. We didn’t have a chance to explore the outside area, due to the rain!
