“Hospitality and friendliness are key factors for us which we did not receive at this hotel.”
We booked and paid for half board but on arrival were told that the hotel restaurant was not open on that day. The elderly gentleman at the desk offered no explanation and was obviously bored and annoyed with us. He said he was not responsible (we found out later that he was the senior manager!) and that only his daughter could help. (we never saw her). Only through a complaint with booking.com were we reimbursed for the evening meal.
