We loved the old building, and the way it had been sympathetically decorated. If you like uniform, bland, corporate hotels, where everything is the same, you might not like this place, but we loved its quirky nature.

“Splendid find”

Lovely place, shabby chic(i think you'd call it) very comfortable and a great breakfast. Didn't meet any staff except guy in the kitchen/cafe in the morning. Our room was great with a balcony and plenty of space in the rooms. Bed was really comfortable and the area was very quiet. Actually tried to book for the next night but it was unfortunately already booked.

“Lovely but short stay”

We stayed one bight in the room Hasensprung which was spacious and with a balcony viewing the Rheingau. Very comfortable bed, nice towels and beautiful furniture, we loved everything about this room! Also the breakfast buffet was incredible and we could even sit outside on the cosy terrass facing the garden.

Location is inside vineyard. Nice scenic location. Breakfast was nice. The lady in breakfast was nice and kind. Except her there was no other person to help with check in and check out.

It is a very cozy stay! Old building, with lots of character. It does creak a bit. Breakfast was great! The place was easy to access!

Tolles Appartment mit Kochecke.

I booked the property based on the 3km description to location I would be working the next day. I then wrote a message to the property stating I would be arriving late by train and where I should best leave the train. I received no response. This was particularly frustrating when I arrived, found that the 3kms is if you can cross the river in between and that the ferry would no longer be running by the time I got there. No taxi driver was prepared to drive me to the hotel and I was extremely fortunate to get the last room in the third hotel I tried to get a bed for the night. The 3km description is completely misleading, and I will not be relying on booking.com in future.

Nicely decorated room, bed comfortable. Little kitchenette and fridge was nice and also the large honesty fridge in the outside area where you could get beer, wine and soft drinks. Breakfast nice, with option of eggs cooked for you, though more fresh fruit would have been nice. Good bike storage with charging facilities.

Great surprise. Spacious rooms, garden with vineyard. Close to Rhine river. Bit unorthodox yet very comfortable and easy going.

The property is really interesting and homely and our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed and a lovely outlook to the winery and rhine river. The bathroom and fittings are lovely. The breakfast and breakfast room were also lovely

Very clean, nicely designed rooms. Nice location, close to the river. The breakfast at their nice cafe was very good quality. They have a beautiful garden, but we were there in winter.
