“A welcoming home”

We spent 2 nights at this delightful B&B. Amalia and her husband made us very welcome as if we were were staying with family. Dinner and breakfast were delicious with all ingredients sourced from her extensive farm garden. Amalia showed us many interesting plants and their uses. The property has parking on-site and is just a short walk from Odzun Church and the trailhead to the Odzun-Horomayr-Kobayr hike. A highlight in Armenia.

“Beautiful quiet stay with delicious homecooked fresh food”

The location is beautiful in the Debed Canyon region, near the Odzun Church overlooking the mountains, the dinner and breakfast were DELICIOUS, with herbs, fruit and eggs from the garden. Staff is very friendly, helpfull and make you feel at home. We would definitly return!

“Great cultural experience”

A wonderful cultural experience in an Armenian village. Our hosts were a warmly welcoming couple and we loved their delicious homecooked dinner and breakfast. The home is just a block from Odzun’s ancient church, which we were fortunate enough to visit during its Christmas Eve mass on 5 January.

Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!

Although the facility is clean and confortable, the best part of this B&B is Amalia, the host. She is very warm and welcoming. She provided us with great food, wine, and brandy; much of it produced or grown on the property. We communicated in German since I do not know much Armenian. If anyone is taking the slow road from Tbilisi to Yerevan and wants to pass time in a small Armenian town, staying here will be a treat.

The hosts are very kind and welcoming! They offered us tea and snacks upon arrival. They can also offer driving services to visit the area (price under negotiation). The place is very calm in winter, we were the only guests, and talked a lot with the hosts. The room is warm and the water is hot in the bathroom. The blancket could be a bit larger :)

Everything was perfect! Amalia was super hospitable and the bedroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING and the guest house was cute

Really nice experience during our stay at Aghasu Tun B&B! Everybody was really kind to us, and we have really enjoyed both welcome, area and our hosts. We recommend without any hesitation :)

Amelia and Aghasi were such lovely hosts! It was a privilege to meet them. The homemade breakfast and dinner were delicious. There is a large table under a roof in the front porch, where everyone meets to eat and drink in the evenig, surrounded by the large garden where much of the food on the table comes from. Though Armenia is a long way from Germany, I will try to come again!
