“Spacious, clean, modern apartment cheaper than Hakone”

Spacious, modern, very clean apartment with castle view from balcony. Good A/C. Safe is in the TV cabinet. Only basic kitchen utensils (but no essential cooking ingredients). Advanced features on toilet and bath tub. Washer and dryer in one. Around 7mins walk from station. Supermarket is a few mins walk away. Quiet area. Very friendly and helpful lady at reception who speaks good English and let us check in around 1pm. Cheaper and better option than staying in Hakone and with Hakone Freepass, train in/out of Hakone is free.

So great, very good two days stay, nothing bad.

The hotel is just 5 min from Odawara station, just in front of the old castle. All rooms has windows with a clear view of castle's garden and the main bastion. All rooms were super clean. Furniture and electrical stuff were in perfect condition. Just bear in mind, that it would be difficult to check-in in the evening, because there might be no stuff to meet you. In any case, I would definitely return to this hotel one more time if I see Odawara again!

Terrific location. We loved the balcony, and the view of the castle lit up at night was magical. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to assist us. We would love to come back and stay longer.

“Okay, but would stay in Hakone / Gora next time.”

The View was considerably cheaper than staying in Hakone. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed.

“Great location, large studio with great facilities for a stay”

Size of the room, layout, bathroom, and facilities were amazing.

The apartment-building is directly next to the Odawara Castle Grounds and looks very new; it is about 7 minutes on foot from Odawara station. There are restaurants and conbinis in the area. The apartment ist very spacious (we were three adults). I especially liked the bathroom: You can have the bathtub fill up automatically, and there is a function to heat up and ventilate the bathroom to dry clothes over night. This is very usefull if you have clothes you either cannot dry in the washing-/dryer-combo that is available, or if you get drenched in the rain as we did. Staff was very friendly and did not mind us storing our suitcases for a couple of hours after our check-out while we went to visit the castle.

Top location, top facilities and top staff! Apartment is very nicely renovated, clean, well equipped and spacious. We were not used to futon beds but we knew that we would get that before we booked. Takes practicing :) Staff was super friendly and polite and explained the usage of the facilities to us. Odawara castle is in sight, bathed in sunrise. We think that the apartment is nicer than the ryokan in Hakone!

Location near the train station in which a good grocery store. 7/ eleven store is around the corner. Nice view to the castle and the beach is near too.

“Great comfortable place to stay in Odawara”

Wonderful little apartment, fully equipped with high tech facilities in the room e.g. toilet that had self opening and closing lid, automatic water tap, high tech bath tub. Washer/dryer in room which has inbuilt washing liquid and fabric softener. Very comfortable stay in Odawara, could have stayed much longer. Few minute walk from train station and central shops. Right outside Odawara castle with view of castle. Very helpful and friendly staff member (even though limited English) who gave a tour of the room even though we arrived almost at end of check in time. Japanese style futon bed was comfortable. Bikes for hire onsite.

Stayed here April 2024. Happy with the apartment. Very clean standard Japan home. Got washing and dryer combo for laundry, induction cooktop, dehymidifier, etc. A view of the Odawara castle was a plus. Short walk to train station (JR, bullet train and Hakone Tazon line) and bus interchange so getting to Hakone was very easy. Alot of restaurants nearby, eg. Minaka and other street food. Staff was super helpful, friendly and speaks sufficient English. Also can hire ebikes at reception.

“Superb accommodation”

So far my best accommodation through out my 2 weeks vacation in Japan. Should have 2 nights here. The castle is walking distance. Train station is like 10 min walks. House is super super clean. I am falling in love with Odawara town. Very beautiful.

“Base for Odawara exporation”

Close to Odawara castle and Odawara train station. Many restaurants nearby so it makes a good base to explore the broader area. The accommodation was decently sized and very clean. The bathroom had ample space.
