Hotel was basically falling apart, all the steel pieces had rusted from the salt, security was crap, my door didn’t lock, the front door sits wide open all night, cats everywhere, piss stains on the sheets, not ideal.

It’s hard to pinpoint the precise reason for being fond of a particular hotel. Call it atmosphere, or character perhaps. For me, this hotel is a sweet reminder of the way things were long ago, when it was common for hotels to provide temporary homes for ordinary people, as well as providing for travelers. How nice to find a comfy place that has an old familiar feel.

“We probably got what we paid for. At least it was clean and comfortable.”
the bed was very comfortable, the mattress was top quality. Everything was clean and tidy. There were a lot of dark stains on the carpet, but it seemed to be clean.

Location was great, Ocean Shores is a small beach town and this hotel is right in the middle of all the Main Street shops and restaurants with easy access to the beach.

“It's one of the more affordable places for a reason so if your cool with that then it's a go.”
The bed was comfortable and once I was asleep, I slept well. The people who work there were nice and helpful. The people who appear to live there are also nice.
