Had to phone the hotel as it was all locked up. Bar and restaurant was closed. If I had know that I would of booked somewhere else

“Beautiful, rustic hotel, lovely owners, delicious breakfast”
Everything. John, Rita and the others were amazing. The breakfast was delicious, our room traditional, cozy and comfortable. And the Biergarten was just perfect! Rita let us take our ice cream to our room!

“A walkthrough in the history”
Kleinkunstbühne Zur Post beim John is definitely a great place to stay. The building is very original, they really kept it as it original. The location is also very beatiful, there are lots of places to see around.

“Amazing building”
Amazing the building, in the past it was a huge hotel, enormus ceiling height, strange rooms! Funny furnitures! The breakfast was in a separate room, where I was total alone! Huge parking behind the building! Kind old owners, who helped me around!

“Good stay for a night.”
Very friendly staff, that showed us to the room and answered (the few) questions we had. We where just passing through on our way to Salzburg, but the location is central in the village. Large parking in the back of the hotel.

“Lovely down-to-earth place”
Fine place out in nowhere in Bavaria. The proprietors John and his wife are super nice and down to earth. The place is full of history and the beirgarten connected is magnificent! The whole thing was a little chaotic. There was no reception pr. se. and no 'serving staff' in the beirgarten, which means you have to sort of find out yourself how to check in, how to order beer - but that is also the charm really - this place is all about good down-to-earth wibes and not making too much of a deal out of yourself. Breakfast was a proper nordic "cold" breakfast meaning bread and spread + yoghurt. If you are looking for bacon and sausages you'll be dissapointed
