Overview
This family-run hotel in Oberwesel and homemade wines. It stands opposite peaceful vineyards, a 20-minute walk from the River Rhine and Oberwesel Train Station. Gutsschänke Sennerhof provides individually furnished rooms with seating areas and private bathrooms. Some rooms offer TVs with cable channels. A rich breakfast buffet is provided each morning. Regional specialities are served in Gutsschänke Sennerhof’s restaurant. On request, guests can enjoy wine tasting in the cellar. The Sennerhof is an ideal base for cycling and hiking along the Rhine and the Lorelei Valley. Schönburg Castle is just 500 metres away, and the Lorelei Rock is 6 km north along the river.

Breakfast was Great!!! The Family was lovely and very helpful when we couldn’t get a bus to the station. The stream sounds lovely. The bus stop is right there!

The whole place and experience. The staff are friendly, helpful and very relaxed. I love the older type buildings filled with history and culture. It's over the road to a bus stop and the railway station is a short walk away. Very close to the Rhine and the town of Oberwesel has a castle and lovely historical buildings.

“The start of the "Oberwesel" Wine Festival was a bonus !”
The Wine especially and the surrounding scenery around the "Gutsschänke Sennerhof" was wonderful. The owners and staff were very accommodating, also helpful with my wanting to speak a little German, which was much worst than their English. The Wine & food from the restaurant was excellent.

“Quiet and restful night just beside the Rhein.”
Quiet location, pleasant atmosphere, traditional furnishing that is well kept and very respectable. Excellent and very generous breakfast! A short 5 minute walk takes you to Oberwesel where you can view so much by day and enjoy good food by night. Excellent meals also available at the Gutsschanke.
