Karin & Marcel were everything you want in a good host. From greeting me at the door, to breakfast in their cozy kitchen. Marcel even got up early to let me start my hike in the wee hours of the morning. This is a true gem.

We've enjoyed our stay in this tiny village. Our room on the ground floor of the Chambre d'Hotes had it's own entrance, a toilet and sink en- suite and a large bathroom with sauna just down the corridor. Hosts Karin and Marcel are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast and dinner were served in their large but cosy kitchen.

An excellent hotel, set in beautiful scenery. Friendly and helpful hosts in a cosy building with wonderful rooms. Lovely breakfast, comfortable beds, exceptionally clean and more like a home than a hotel. Excellent value for money.

“Was one of our favourite stays on a long European road trip, and would love to come back for longer next time”
Lovely quiet location. Room for 4 of us was comfortable , nice and cool in the heat, and we had a great sleep on our stopover. Dinner with Karin and Marcel was lovely, and breakfast was a treat too.

“We loved our stay in Obersteinbach and would really like to return one day.”
Easy answer. We loved everything. Marcel and Karen couldn't have done more for us. We joined them and other guests for a sumptuous evening meal on our first night {at very short notice}. Breakfast included home made bread and tea came in a POT! Staying here was the highlight of our European tour. Great company, superb food and a beautiful location and room.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, Villa is clean and nicely decorated, Located in a quiet beautiful village close to an old castle, you can go for a walk/climb in the nice forest with beautiful site seeing, Breakfast was perfect with a limited variety of staff but just enough, Thanks to Karen and Marcel for the good experience.
