Overview
Set in a historic, 19th-century villa, this modern hotel enjoys a scenic location in the popular winter sports resort. It offers a spa area, bowling alley and spacious accommodation with free Wi-Fi access. Renovated in December 2012, Villa Silva features stylish rooms decorated in forest-inspired green and brown tones. Highlights include a flat-screen TV and a large bathroom. Each morning, breakfast is served in the bright and cheerful breakfast room of the neighboring Berghotel Oberdorf. Guests can sample Thüringen specialities and international dishes at the Berghotel Óberhof Restaurant Saltus, or relax with a drink in the hotel bar. Oberhof’s ski lifts and ski centre are within 1.5 km of Villa Silva. After a long day on the slopes, soothing massages, sauna and steam rooms are all available at the hotel. Transfers to Erfurt-Weimar Airport can be organised on request.

“Lovely location, nice facilities, friendly staff, tasty breakfast”
Lovely setting, short walk into the town centre. Facilities were nice and the villa set back from the main hotel was quiet. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and diverse.

“Not the cheapest”
Room was not too small. For a longer stay great. Morning swim not used because the pool in a other building. Breakfast we had in a nearby bakery. Nice food and wine in the restaurant.

“Relax places to be, however be careful with all the extra cost that can come after”

“Total disappointment”
rooms are clean and staff is friendly apart from the reception. Location is ok. Breakfast is also ok but nothing special like some reviews want you to believe.

“Definitely worth coming back to”
This was our second stay at Konsumhotel - last time we stayed in Berghof. Both have been very pleasant experiences, and here are a few reasons why: - Oberhof is a lovely place with wonderful nature and many hiking opportunities - the staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating to all requests you might have - the pool has a great view (the pictures are quite realistic) and the spa is also worth mentioning - the food is great - both in variety and quality - free tea is available in the hallways - there are vending machines with affordable drinks as well - the rooms are quite comfortable and well equipped; - so are the mattresses, and, this is quite important for us - memory-form neck-support pillows are available upon request.
