Great location, just centric enough but not right in the city center. The pool was a great bonus, as well as the courtyard. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Breakfast was okay, limited options but not bad.

The location was good and easy access to Centro by walking, the rooms were basic but comfortable, the front desk service was good and the breakfast was basic but nice

The staff were efficient,effective and accomodating. The fact that they were proud of their hotel is obvious. It was situated on a quiet street but only a brief walk to churches,museums and the zocalo. The pool was excellent and much appreciated after a day of touring.

The pool was fabulous, the staff lovely, the breakfasts were tasty. The other guests were nice - apart from on the first day a woman refused to let me in and she informed me that ' nowhere in the world was safe.' (Obviously not the fault of the hotel and they came to let me in immediately). Pool was quiet - only one noisy family (same one with the paranoid mother). No other kids which is always a bonus. Tea, coffee and water always available.

Great location - 5 minutes walk to Centro. Good breakfast - different every day. Filtered drinking water available. Pool area is beautiful. Room had basic cooking facilities and fridge.

Great location with a very lovely brunch restaurant right next door. It's about a 15-minute walk to anything a typical visitor would want to go to, including the city centre and the bus terminal with connections across the state. Rooms are a little old-fashioned but quite cute, staff are very nice, breakfast is good - you get to choose one of two rotating items each day - and you'll dine on a terrace overlooking Oaxaca, the pool and the garden.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely pool area. Breakfast with different main dishes to choose from each day.

The hotel is brilliantly located in easy walking distance to everything. Gorgeous swimming pool and gardens for restful moments. Comfortable and very secure. We liked the hotel very much.

The hotel was in a quiet location but close to the main attractions. The building was charming, really pretty with rooms set round a central courtyard. There was complimentary water, tea and coffee available throughout the day and until late evening. The swimming pool was a bonus after long days sightseeing.

The breakfast was great. Changing every day and always 2 options. Everything fresh and prepared at the moment. The pool area was really nice to relax in the water or read a book on the evening. The staff was always super friendly and helpful

“Oasis of calm in Oaxaca”

We felt lucky to find this little hotel during our travels. Oaxaca is a really interesting place to be but can be very busy. The oasis of calm that was the swimming pool was just what we needed between tours, museum trips, eating out and generally lapping up the atmosphere. The breakfast Terrace overlooking this swimming pool, and the freshly cooked breakfast each morning. The stuff with always helpful, and the atmosphere of the other guests was very friendly.

A sanctuary relatively close the the two main zocalos. Wonderful freshly cooked breakfasts that changed daily with fruit. Friendly staff and the building is cute and more Mexican than a westernised hotel

Good location super friendly and helpful staff. Nice to have free water and the swimming pool area was very relaxing. Our room opened on to the garden and pool which was convenient and there were plenty of sun loungers and tables and chairs. The garden was very pretty especially when lit at night. They’d made a good effort with Christmas decorations which was nice.
