“GuP fan or not, great place to stay!”
Enjoyed the stay! The owner was able to get someone fluent in english to help guide us around the place. I came to Oarai for the Girls Und Panzer pilgrimage, and this hotel suited me well. It has its own mini GuP museum room, filled to the brim with various memorabilia. Even its slippers were GuP theme🤣 Other than that, the place was amazing. An indoor onsen for you to relax after walking around oarai for the whole day. It is also quite close to the aquarium! The room was nice and had a comfy feel, and was very clean too! There were also free drinks for us to enjoy, with various other amenities provided. Overall our stay here was great, even for just one night. How i wish i could stay longer! Big thanks again to the owners and I will definitely look to come back once again when I come back to Oarai!

“Cozy and comfortable stay”
Easy to reach by bus, the rooms were beautiful, and they had a spot where you could buy locally produced veggies and the money from it went to Red Cross

The breakfast exceeded my expectations, it looked just okay, but the taste was amazing. The onsen was comfortable, though the space wasn’t very large. 7-11 is only a 5-minute walk away.

People go to oarai to pilgrimage for GuP. Was the cheapest and closest to the town center. Place being clean, quiet and cozy was a huge bonus. The caretaker, nobita was a cool dude for helping me out.

Traditional Japanese breakfast, really good. employees hat translation to English prepared. Nice bath, maybe a bit hot.

“A relaxing and comfortable break from city life that far exceeded our expectations!”
The breakfast was great, very big and tasty. The wake up call for breakfast was also greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed the ability to use the onsen privately. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also the Garupan Library was amazing!
