Overview
Located on Lake Vänern, 20 km from Åmål, this resort has its own private, sandy beach. It offers cottages with a terrace and well-equipped kitchen. Access is free to 2 saunas. All cottages at Rolfskärrs Stugby are located by the lake, surrounded by nature and the forest. They feature a dining area as well as a seating area with a sofa. Kitchen facilities include a fridge, cooker and microwave. Guests at Stugby Rolfskärrs can enjoy free Wi-Fi in public areas. We were there at the end of the season, so we were practically alone. Beautiful location and cottage a few meters away from the lake. We loved our own private outdoor toilet. The shared showers (2) were clean, we did not use the sauna. The cottage is basic, but the kitchen was good, small table to sit, the beds were good and there was airconditioning/heating. You'll spend most time outdoors anyways ;) the night sky was amazing. Would recommend for sure.

The view by the lake was really breathtaking. The sauna was cute Z We could not use it unfortunately, because we had to many plans. But definitely next time .

The camping location is amazing, just at the lake side. Fantastic view from the house, we had. Can you imagine the breakfast on sunny morning with the view like this one? It was perfect, but short stay!

It a rustikal, cute little cabin with enough space for 6 people (two adults and 4 children or 4 adults and 2 children = because of the bunk beds), or in our Case 3 adults and one big Dog. The Environment is really breathtaking!! The bathroom Situation is outside of the House. So it's a bit unusual and It takes a little time to get used to that, if you're not used to It. Still It was an unique yet wonderful experience and totally worth the Long way from Germany. We can totally recommend vacation Home. Our Dog really enjoyed his time there. We surely will come Back again :)

As always: we love that place. And even if we had the hut in the back of the reception and feared some interruption with noise, it turned out to be not at all the case. Had a good nice time even with rainy weather. We definately will come back:).

The lake location and the cano hire are awesome. It’s quite remote and therefore quiet, meditative almost.
