I have done the one night activity and It was great. Never getting boring, the house in Nurata is so nice, we had a big great launch. The fortress near the house is a very quick 40 minutes trip but still interesting, we arrived at the camp when the sun started to go down a little bit so even if it was June was not to hot. At the camp you can encounter animals and insects, you have to adapt a little bit but is part of the experience and is a great one. You can enjoy the sunset, taking spectacular photos, and eat amazing traditional food. Also appreciate traditional music with dumbra. Next day lake, water is not cold and at around 10 a.m. the weather is perfect. I suggest it!

“An authentic Kazakh nomadic experience in the Kyzylkum Desert.”
We thoroughly enjoyed going back to basics in the Kyzylkum Desert. It was such an amazing and unique experience and definitely worth a visit. The covered seating area around the camp fire was very cosy and great for stargazing. The food was freshly prepared and cooked on an open fire - nothing fancy just good tasty Uzbek cuisine. The traditional quilted coats provided were a nice touch especially when it was a little chilly in the evening.

“Great experience!”
Great place if you want to see life in desert. The facilities are very simple and there is no electricity, but it’s part of the experience. The place is clean and we had everything needed to stay one night. Amazing sunset and sunrise view. Very friendly hosts, who cooked us very tasty dinner. We arrived during the day when it was super hot and were worried not to be able to sleep without air conditioner, but the temperature dropped down at night so it was fine in the end. Beautiful lake nearby.

“Definitely NOT recommended”
- Evening dinner was tasty (extra 10 USD per person) - One of the staff, Chariv, was nicely dedicated - We had a little bonfire in the evening - Nice view of the empty desert

“A stay to remember”
An experience like no other. No luxuries but an unforgettable time. Sleeping in Yurt in a desert with no wifi, no shower or running water but with friendly people around was pretty special. We got a two way transfer, saw how plov was cooked and listened to a traditional Uzbek musić around fire.

“Amazing winter experience staying at Yurt.”
Amazing Hosts and our family had a wonderful experience staying in the Yurt. We enjoyed the delicious home cooked food prepared by the host family. I would definitely recommend Yurt stay Family Khansar. Thank you Mr Ruslan and his team for the warm hospitality.

“Enjoy this experience and meet nice people”
We thoroughly enjoyed the place, especially the people (staff) who entertained us during dinner and around the campfire. The yurt camp, situated in the heart of the desert, offers a unique and authentic experience. As it's a traditional yurt camp, don’t expect luxury amenities or accommodations, but rather a simple and genuine way of living. If you're lucky enough to have a clear, moonless night, the stargazing is truly breathtaking.

“A perfect stay”
Ruslan, who organized the stay for us, is very helpful in all possible aspects. He organized the transport from Bukhara and the next day to Samarkand for a more then competable price. We were welcomed at his family place in Nurota for a very delicious lunch. Then a driver took us to Alexander the Great’s fortress ruins for a walk, afterwards to their private place at the Aydar lake to swim. Later we arrived at Kyzylkum Desert where we were welcomed to the Yurt camp. We learned how the traditional bread is baked, had a camel ride, admired the landscape and sunset. Afterwards we enjoyed dinner with the family. At the camp fire we could admire the stars. Ruslan is perfectly caring for every aspect of your stay and makes it easy to be able to just enjoy and be fascinated. Everything is very personal and his aim is to meet everyones needs, the tourist ones as well as the host family, drivers, nature. Ruslan speaks very good English, with the family we used a mixture of English, some Russian words and the help of google translate :) A very excptional ecperience!
