Salomón, Juan Diego and the whole family offer a fantastic service - from the arrival to departure. They are available for recommendations and help to organise the activities you want to do. There was a problem with my booking, therefore I was changed to Posada Kevelin, so I cannot say anything about the rooms. Despite the change, the whole team was available and I could go to the Refugio.

“One of the most beautiful places I have seen in Colombia”

The accommodation is in a fantastic location. There was very little going on for the first few days, it was quiet and you could almost feel alone on the entire beach. The staff were nice and helped us as we only speak a little Spanish. The translator helped. I would definitely recommend the accommodation. It is important to take enough cash with you, as nothing can be paid by card. Important: transport there (1 hour) by water taxi and back costs around COP 65,000 per person and the tours you can do are not very cheap either. The food costs around COP 40,000 per meal. Whether in the accommodation or in another restaurant.

Amazing hotel, great staff, super friendly. It's an hotel in very small village, located at the beach on the front side. A place to escape everything and enjoy the beach, jungle and paradise. The staff is especially great and friendly. 100% recommended.

Salomon, Patricia y Nelly, totally make me feel at home and spoiled with all the love and personalized attention 💕 allways taking care of me and making sure I was happy and safe as a solo travel girl. They are absolutely caring and loveing people. Can't wait to go back and spend more time in this beautiful paradise away from the world.

“The place is okay but beware with your payments”

The location directly overlooking the Pacific Ocean is amazing. We also enjoyed that it is centrally located in Termales where you can follow the village life. The terrace is the main attraction of this place.

“Fabulous location, staff and nature”

We had a wonderful stay at Cabanas Refujio Salomon My family of five were very well looked after and Salomon, his wife and two delightful grandchildren couldn’t have been more helpful. They were so kind and accommodating. We are three lunches and dinners during our stay, and even had the fish we’d caught cooked for us the same evening. The meals were fresh and very tasty. A lovely setting overlooking the ocean. Accommodation is clean, and well appointed for tours. We had a fabulous time whale watching. A separate fishing trip was wonderful too. We also enjoyed a very pleasant few hours at the hot springs, and on a different occasion got a boat along the coast to a waterfall. Would thoroughly recommend Cabanas Refujio Salomon

Rustic cabin right on the beach. Hammocks on the terrace. Great place to relax, read a book and disconnect. Staff were kind. Made me breakfast at 6am on my last day (completely unexpected) when I was waiting for the boat back to Nuqui. No phone signal or WiFi.

Amazing location right by the beach, and a lovely welcome by Salomon and his family. The food is good, the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries. Simple room but very comfortable and clean, including a mosquito net.

“Very friendly, clean, and staff was attentive to our needs.”

Solomon and the staff were attentive and friendly. The home-cooked food was delicious, especially the fresh fish. The location is amazing, directly on the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the termales and the trail head to hike through the jungle to a waterfall. The staff arranged all activities and transportation.

“Authentic”

The bed was very confortable. The breakfasts were very tasty and different everyday. The view is incredible and I even saw a whale jumping in the sea while eating breakfast! The two ladies working there were very kind , helpful and they offered me delicious juices and coffee. Don Salomón always welcome you with a warm smile and kind words.

Salomon and his staff were nice, the food was basic but really good and of course the whole costal area of pacific Colombia has a very special athmosphere.

Salomon and the staff were really nice and helpful! The location is on an amazing beach. The common area overlooks the ocean, so it’s really nice to watch it sitting in a hammock. The building is right in front of the ocean (first line)

Refugio Salomon is a wonderful place, located right at the beach with amazing views of the ocean. Salomon, his wife and the staff are really caring and welcoming people. The room was clean and comfortable. We really loved our stay here! Well recommended.

Most of the accommodations in Nuqui are owned and runned by the locals wich gives a warm feeling to the stay. Salomon and his family were very respectful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed the local food a lot! The ingredients might have been the same but the preparation varied every single meal and they were all delicious. The property has a very wide balcony with hammocks just in front of the sea, perfect to relax, read and watch the pacific tide come up and down. The thermal baths were a 5 minute walking distance.

“Amazing hotel in Termales !”

We spent one amazing week in this hotel ! Salomon and his wife are really kind and do everything to make you feel at home. The room and common spaces are really confortable with a view on the sea, the food is really good, and there are a lot of activities to do in and around termales ! 100% recommand it !

Very clean and cosy place right on the beach, close to very nice hotsprings. The host helps you organising the different activities. They have free coffee in the balcony so you can enjoy it with a nice view.

The location of the Cabaña is incedible, right on the beach and with a wonderful view from a hammock or during coffee/dinner. Salomon and his wife were very, very friendly and helpful. They even served us delicious vegetarian dishes upon request, cooked freshly within the house. Thanks to both of them - 10/10!
