The hotel is so close to the beach😍. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was so so good. The rooms were spotlessly clean. This place totally felt like home. It's a 10/10 for me.

It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Carlotta! The included breakfast was amazing! The staff was very nice and helpful. In one of our rooms the AC did not work but when we came back from the beach it was already fixed so no problem at all!

The staff was very friendly & helpful regarding recommendations for travelling, AC in the room, nice breakfast & beautiful garden. Location is central and proximity to beach and restaurants.

After climbing to Kilimanjaro we decided to visit Zanzibar to take a rest and I selected this place. I like this place because it is calm and cozy, you feel like time is slowing down here. The breakfast was tasty and simple 2 fried eggs, some fruits and coffee with a toast. The villa is not close to the ocean, you have to walk about 5 minutes to get to the beach, but for me it wasn’t important.

“a Zanzibar gem”

Our stay at Casa Carlotta with my friends was fantastic. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a pleasant porch, perfect for relaxing. The daily breakfast, served by the kind staff on the beautiful terrace, was a lovely way to start the day. The location is excellent: a short walk to the beach, restaurants, beach bars, and massage services, yet the surrounding street remains calm and quiet. The true highlight and ambassador of this wonderful place is Roy. He was always available to answer any question, offered great advice, and truly created a genuine, friendly atmosphere. He felt like that trusted friend who is always around when you need help. Thank you for a wonderful visit. We highly recommend Casa Carlotta.

“Will return”

Everything was awesome. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful felt right at home breakfast was lovely and accommodation was made for our early tours. Roy is a brilliant host ! Accommodation exceeded our expectations and the location made us wish we extend our stay there . Overall wonderful experience highly recommend.

Wonderful relaxing place to stay, also great value. The staff we si nice and friendly nothing was a problem. Very near the beach, and some great little cafes near by. Would definitely stay if I ever come back to Zanzibar

“Amazing!”

The location was amazing, so close to the beach. The staff and house were super nice too. The juices (especially the avocado juice) were so nice and refreshing - thank you!

The location is superb, with a coffee shop across the road, a currency exchange with a cool fat cat through the wall, a budget restaurant (not bad, but not top notch) two walls away, the beach 5 minutes away, and taxis right on the doorstep. The owner of the villa is wonderful, the villa itself is cosy, clean and tidy. If I go to Zanzibar again, I will definitely stay there.

Great location and excellent breakfast!! The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet, so perfect to relax.

Nice terrace to eat and meet others. Staff and host were friendly and a welcoming smoothie on arrival. Great having access to the kitchen outside of breakfast time. Lots of utensils & crockery.

“Fine stay at Numgwi”

Great place. Great location. Lots of places to eat just outside the door. Breakfast was simple but ok. Great fruit juices. Bed ok. Place is affordable and smack in the middle. 5 minute walk to the beach. Would stay here again.

We’ve enjoyed our stay . The bed was super comfortable. Breakfasts were so nutritious and juices were so tasty. The stuff was nice and cute. When we’ve had some requests during our stay it had been done for us . The territory was always been clean and looked nice. The area around hotel is good : you can find one of the best coffee few and tasty food and excursions few steps near the hotel Thanks !

The location is perfect, very close to the beach, next to a very nice restaurant and right on the main streets with all the shop. The staff was super nice, very polite and attentive ladies, who made sure we had a nice breakfast every morning. The owner was around all the time in case you needed help. Overall, a very good value for the money we paid.
