Overview
Located on Amsterdam’s famous Dam Square just 10 minutes’ walk from Centraal Station, Swissôtel Amsterdam offers a fitness centre. Swissôtel Amsterdam’s rooms include large windows, soundproofing and a spacious bathroom with free Swiss bath products. All rooms include a Nespresso machine, and some overlook Dam Square. Breakfast is offered seven days per week and room service is available. Guests can schedule an in-room massage, or ask staff at the 24-hour concierge desk to arrange bicycle rental or restaurant reservations. The hotel offers free WiFi throughout the whole building The Magna Plaza shopping centre and the Royal Palace are within 5 minutes’ walk. The Dam Square Tram Stop is in front of the hotel, and can be used to reach the Rijksmuseum, a 15-minute ride away.

The warm and friendly staff at check-in Ms Miriam, she was professional and kind, attended to all our requests and ofcourse the location and room was very good and value for money, right opposite to Damrak and 10mins walk from Central station

“A great stay in a fascinating city”
The hotel is well located in central Amsterdam being only a 10 minute walk from Centraal station (if you leave station from the correct side!) and with a tram stop immediately outside. We booked a Junior Suite to ensure comfort across our 5-night stay and were put in one on the top floor that was surprisingly quiet considering it overlooked the main street. The room was spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfasts were good as was the meal we ate in the hotel one night.

Good locations to main tourist area. 10 min walk to the main station where the Eurostar stops. Nearby retail stores good plus local restaurants. Adjourning restaurant was nice.

“Would definitely stay here next time we are in Amsterdam.”
The location was amazing and the staff really helpful, informative and super friendly. The room was very quiet, absolutely no noise disturbance in the night (Saturday) even though there are plenty of outdoor bars around. Although some reviews mention housekeeping issues, we had none at all and found the room spotless.
