Overview
Offering impressive views, Mövenpick Hotel is located on the edge of the River IJ, opposite the Muziekgebouw Bimhuis tram stop. This luxurious hotel boasts a wellness centre and gym. Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre offers sound-proofed rooms with climate control and views on the river and Amsterdam. Each room has free WiFi, a minibar, satellite TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant serves an international menu of unique dishes and grilled specialities. Mövenpick is only one tram stop away from Amsterdam Central Railway Station from where there are trams, buses and metro connections all over the city. I have never stayed in such a filthy, dirtiest, and dusty hotel in my life. The bed sheets and pillowcases were dirty and covered in hair. There were bloodstains on the walls and curtains. Everything was dusty.

“Fantastic”
The staff bent over backwards to help. From the moment we arrived at reception, to the restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner. Speaking about the food, it was glorious. We will definitely stay there again when we revisit Amsterdam

When we were looking for a hotel this one was competitively priced but a better location and facilities than most. So we were pleasantly surprised just how nice it was! The location was easy to find from Centraal Station. It’s a lovely location with stunning views. The facilities were great, with snacks available to buy 24 hours per day in the foyer, nice sofas, shop, toilets in the waiting area etc. The breakfast was magnificent, with lots of healthy options (an impressive array of granolas and fruits) and good coffee. The room itself had enough space for suitcases even for 3 in a twin room. The bathroom was a good size, with a huge shower and we liked the magnifying mirror. It’s great to have shower gel / shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and hand cream easily available in dispensers.

“Pleasant and comfortable.”
Good location and room size for a one night stay as a family of 3. We managed to get settled and have a bit of space for relaxation as well. It qas convenient for our arrival and onward travel the next day.

The hotel was close to the cruise terminal. It was clean. Pillows were very flat. It felt like we were sleeping on the mattress. Staff were very helpful.

The staff were most helpful in assisting us during our stay. As the property is close to the cruise dock it is an easy transfer to the boats.

“Great stay, location & clean”
The hotel is at the city center, just 15 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal. Just 5 minute walk from tram station was well. So a great location. Room size was huge which is not expected in Amsterdam. Fully clean with comfortable bedding. Free luggage storage after checkout. Everything was a great stay.
