Overview
In the north west of Friesland lies the parish county of 'Het Bildt' . Situated in the heart of the village, hotel 'The White Clock' has housed travelers since 1664. For bird lovers and culture-vultures alike, this hotel is the ideal base for day trips. With the Waddenzee just 3km away, unique low tide walks take you from mainland to island. The city of Leeuwarden and various tourist attractions are within a 30km radius. Four fully equipped apartments are available, each suitable for between two and four people.

“Cosy countryside stay in Northern part of the Nederlands”
Comfortable spacious unit which all basic requirements. Restaurant closeby in quiet neigborhood. Close to reach ferries to visit islands just of the coast pf. Nederlands great experiene to biciycle on island for the day. Visit Northern parts of the Nederlands fewer crowds and interresting places. Amazing country with so much to offer.

Linda was a great host, she showed us in details what is interesting around, where to book tickets to nearby islands etc. Apartment had everything we needed and was comfortable. Payment was on the spot. Village itself is cozy and has a surprisingly rich museum/café right downstairs (that also rents bikes) and a restaurant. We recommend.

“relaxed weekend!”
Linda is wonderfully caring about everything, which we feel good at our stay. The location with beautiful nature and quiet atmosphere. And like a seacret garden is so cozy. And the breakfast is plenty and well cared. Defenitely we would come back! Thank you!

“Amazing and helpful owner and location was perfect!”
The location and room were amazing. The staff/owner was helpful and welcoming, making sure we could find the places we were looking for and making reservations for us for the best meal we had our entire trip! The breakfast basket was a treat and everything was fresh and delicious! I can not say enough about this hidden gem!

“Good value of money”
