Overview
Situated in the peaceful Zuid Kennemerland National Park, this classic country house includes period English-style rooms. Kruidberg is a 4-star hotel which features the exclusive Spa & Wellness centre 't Princenbosch. Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg offers rooms with classic décor in the main house and rooms with modern décor in a separate wing. Each of the rooms includes a flat-screen TV, work desk and tea and coffee making facilities. Free private parking is available on site. The beach and the Spaarnwoude Recreation Area are both less than a 15-minute drive from Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg. Amsterdam is 30 minutes’ drive away.

“A beautiful and comfortable castle hotel at premium location.”
The hotel is a good mix of old style and modernity at the same time. It is a castle hotel of elegant style, but at the same time very comfortable. The breakfast place and the choice at the breakfast is fabulous. The location is premium.

“A wonderful stay in a special place. Highly recommended!”
A beautiful place in an equally beautiful location. Kind and helpful staff and a truely wonderful room. Romantic and cosy. We had a wedding party at the venue in the evening which was also very well catered for. The breakfast the next morning was - unsurprisingly - also top notch. I highly recommend staying here; it is a real sweetspot in my opinion. I had booked two rooms; one room with an extra bed, and one for my wife and myself. We had the pleasure of being in the actual manor - the other room was in a later-built wing housing the spa and gym facilities and additional rooms. The room in that wing was also very good; but I would recommend a stay in the manor as the room we had on the 2nd floor was romantic to say the least. Excellent bed, excellent shower, very clean and perfectly maintained...

Amazing location. We are the second time here. Had a beautiful walk in the forest and then amazing dinner in the hotel’s restourant. This is the place where you want to come back again and again

“Poor Cleanness”
The hotel and its surrounding area are incredibly picturesque. You can explore the beautiful nature trails and the hotel itself exudes a sense of history. A spa was the main reason for our booking and it had good facilities, with a bathrobe and a large towel provided. The breakfast was also satisfactory.

“Very relaxed stay in a really lovely setting with good walks in a nature reserve next door”
The room was comfortable as expected. Nothing by way of a view due to the courtyard setting. This was a shame, but perhaps we needed to get a better room for that. Room was clean and well presented. The bathroom facilities are starting to show some age, but were clean and easy to use.

“Beautiful hotel and great breakfast, but with room for improvement.”
We stayed there for two nights and overall had a good but mixed experience. The hotel itself is truly beautiful, with a breathtaking atmosphere and many thoughtful details. Our room, which featured a large balcony overlooking the well-maintained garden, was a particular highlight, as was the overall aesthetic of the property. The breakfast was excellent and left little to be desired, although the selection of dairy alternatives could have been more varied. The spa area was pleasant as well, but we found it unfortunate that it only opened at 4 pm. An earlier opening time, or at least the option to access it upon request, would have been appreciated. Service was friendly.

“Fairytale Hotel”
This hotel felt like you were staying in a fairytale book, so much joy and warmth. The room was beautiful and definitely was the comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was delightful overall this was a wonderful stay.

The hotel was absolutely stunning. The park and surrounding areas absolutely beautiful and it is just a short drive to the bigger cities or the ocean. Staff was fantastic and friendly. Amazing breakfast and the option for a late checkout.
