Overview
Set along the edge of the famous Herengracht canal, Banks Mansion features Art Deco design and original features. It offers elegant rooms with a unique all-inclusive concept to give guests a “home away from home” feeling. Flat-screen satellite TV come as standard in the air-conditioned rooms at Banks Mansion. They also include a free private minibar with luxurious cut-glass decanters of whiskey, cognac and gin. The warm décor is complemented by dark wood furniture and stained glass windows. Each of the bathrooms includes a relaxing rain shower. It is also possible to select a choice of pillow from the pillow menu. An international live-cooking breakfast is served daily, including eggs, breads and pancakes. In The Living lounge guests can relax in the large armchairs and enjoy free drinks, tea/coffee and snacks throughout the day, including afternoon cheese platters. Banks Mansion is only 250 metres from the Kalverstraat shopping area. The Keizersgracht tram stop is 140 metres away and offers direct links to Museum Square. Banks Mansion offers wooden rental bikes and staff are happy to offer advice about attractions at the tour desk. Guests have free use of an iPad in lobby. Local landmarks include Hermitage Museum, Rembrandtplein, Flower market, all within a 5-minute walk away.

“Perfect hotel for a weekend away, great location and the staff were superb”
The whole experience was superb. The staff were so accommodating/ went above and beyond. Communication was great before arrival and they organised for the room to be decorated for my partners birthday. The room was lovely, a good size, we had the view of the canal and everything was 5*. They were great on arrival, so welcoming and kept making sure they added anything they could to make the weekend special.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding from the staff, the decor, the comfy bed, the toileteries, the self serve bar, cheese trolley, snacks and absolutely fabulous breakfast. It was also located very centrally and the lobby was a fantastic place to sit and relax. I highly recommend and would like to return.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is a lovely building, well maintained and clean. Breakfast was delicious, with good gluten free options; I really liked the fresh eggs being made on show.
